Why do people complain about Pikipek evolving into Toukipek but never say a thing about Pidgey, Spearow, Wingull, Starly, Pidove or Fletchling? Literally all three stage non-starter birds change the base animal when they evolve. Also, woodpeckers and toucans are way more related than passerines and raptors, gulls and pelicans, hawks and storks, and doves and pheasants are.
Also, this might be the only original Alola Dark-type besides Luchalitten.
