the problem is, is that gf wants to strike gold with another "charizard". delphox being the exception. so they keep trying to appeal to the "edgy cool kids" with "Fire/Fighting"

every last detail is fire/fighting except for its "official" typing. gf made another fire fighting fire starter and then gave it dark typing so they could cover they're anus's over a redundant and overdone to death concept. give it up for 4 gens of fire/fighting.

If you think Emerald is good by definition you must think the rest are bad. Emerald added and fixed the previous tittles. The failing of Emerald is that you need the other games to complete the national dex.

I'll only mention the things Emerald didn't fix:

The quality of the music is bad. You can like the compositions and songs but the quality doesn't have the refinement of better hardware or the simplicity of bleep bloops. It sounds bad.

Graphics are functional but really not exciting or interesting. They are just there. They don't add anything or take anything away. A lot of backsprites are terrible.

The Hoenn pokedex is lackluster. It has great pokemon but some designs are really ugly. Most Johto pokemon are in the postgame so really can't be used early on.

The story is weak too.

With all those negatives and more they are still my favorites. With all the flaws I don't think they are the best but they are the best for replaying because they are so simple. I never get tired of playing them.
