Pay attention to the skills you discard. There is no way to get back a discarded skill.

And I think those affect magical defense too. Just remember that in Nocturne there's two spell series for affecting attack - tarukaja for physical attacks and makakaja for magical attacks.

I just went back to playing Raidou 2 now that I have a component cable to hook my ps2 up to my HDTV. Everything's pixelated as fuck but I forgot how perfect the fusion system and battles are.
Also, for the first time I've been playing Nocturne.

Currently level 57. What's a good level to tackle the third kalpa with Dante up your ass without having to worry about random battles with estoma? I notice if a wild demon has a level higher than yours, estoma doesn't work and I'd rather not sit through a bunch of annoying random battles in these kalpa's. These dungeons are hard enough as is.

During the Dante chase there are no random encounters at all in the areas he's in. Other than that, Estoma and the Repulse Bells are all you really have in terms of lessening the random encounters. If you're playing on normal it's much easier to run from battles

Its not. The misconception comes from assuming that what buddhism is describing is total self annihilation. But its not that at all. Its a transformation that comes from erasing what you "know" as the self. And involves intense training to learn otherwise. You're taking "thinking something is bad and wanting to change it" and spinning that as a similarity. But that describes every ending. Trying to turn yourself into an impersonal abstraction is different from trying to literally erase yourself.

At best you can tie this to the fact that there may not be total enlightenment in the smt universe, so this is the only way to totally erase the self. But that's not about the white being buddhist, so much as it is a dark spin on religion and reality in general. Te idea that everything "just working" is a fantasy, and that you have to work in light of this. And that someone who wants a thing they realize isn't real may desire total annihilation seeing it as the only way to stop rebirth for good. Contrasted with SJs law end, which seems to stop rebirth for good, and do this for real, without erasing everything.

They don't believe that any Law ending is a (permanent) solution and they don't believe in a spiritually accessible Nirvana/Nothingness.
