I just tried Nyx, and holy shit her 1 was sad.
In theory it means you can temporary have an ally that can draw fire, and use its qualities against the enemies, but instead it just makes a dopey bullet sponge which, admittedly, it does well enough if positioned right, but other than that it wont attack shit and it always tries to stand behind you and do fuck all.
its good for 'stalling' a single target. thats it. most frames do that better with better effects.

MC is useful for 2 things, disabling a single enemy that surprises you and drawing aggor since MC gives enemies aggro priority. If you have enemies coming only from one direction a well placed MC does pretty much the same as chaos since everything will focus on it, but don't tell DE, they still think you actually use MC to gain an ally for a short duration (see that latest augment mod). You definitely get that with Saryn, just make sure to use the camera position bug to lower your camera to a much better viewpoint.

Also Saryn is about ten times better at doing what Ember is supposed to do, just make sure to get a good copter weapon and miasma your way through everything leaving all the shitters behind with no enemies to shoot.
At least that's fun to do in stuff like the exterminate tac alert. The shitters basically jog through an empty level where you stand at extraction with your venom sacks swaying gently in the breeze.

PvP, if you want to inflict the mess that is dork sectors on yourself. Ash has decently sturdy stats and once you get enough energy for Blade Storm it's all ogre for the enemy team. Not to mention his 1 is a guaranteed bleed proc and most shitters in Dark Sectors won't run vitality for whatever reason and get their asses devastated by just one shuriken.

So basically you won't get much use out of him aside from those first five minutes when Dark Sector conflicts actually have rewards, unless you're part of an alliance that actually fights over things that cost you more than they gain you.
