I kinda like them but worry about how it will be distributed. If the entire fight is crammed in the last episode like usual it will surely be a rushed clusterfuck, but if they have the ultimates vs Raguelmon on the third episode and then the last one for the royal knight scuffle it could be great, as long as the fights aren't total shit like Machinedramon. Most of the stuff you list can just resolve itself together. Just have the fight with berserk Meicoomon fusion, then have Meiko and Hikari making they partners snap out of it and get their true ultimates, Alphamon, Jessmon and Homeostasis see Meicoomon is stable now and decide to trust the kids with it while Yggi/Rapist Gennai still wants to kill it and fuck up the human world and sends some eldrich horror to be the final boss (or just had Yggi stand by while another eldrich horror escapes from the dark ocean). They defeat it, everything gets purified (Gennai included) and everyone is happy. Then an epilogue talking about how the human-digital world relationship was rusty after these events and Taichi became a diplomat to make it work.
Not to hard if it gets 5 episodes like the third one. The only thing that actually bothers me is that the digimon may not be getting they pre-reboots memories back

When a digimon can be replaced by any other Digimon and it doesn't make a difference for the scene, then it's pretty much random. Meicoomon is not but Alphamon and Jesmon essentially are. We don't know why they specifically are there. Does Jesmon do something only Jesmon can do, does Jesmon say something only Jesmon can say? Alphamon doesn't even talk he could be any other Digimon.
I too am happy that they didn't waste time with animations we've already seen but the 3~4 new ones that are left should be full screen.

Alphamon, because it gives us the Alpha VS Omega fight, and Jesmon because he was the most recent anniversary mon (Zubamon wasnt around when Reunion was made) I guess you could argue that its because Yggdrassil is involved and thus the RK are dragged in. Add to that CS that came out around the time movie 1 came out and Alphamons role in it, and yeah. Granted if they do manage to tie in the Alpha in Force/the OS Generics into the movies, keeping them true to the profiles I would be the first one to celebrate, but I dont really see it happening the way things are going.

Why it could be Holydramon: Meicoomon's evil Mega is a beastly cat monster and the good is a sorta human lady cat. Now Gatomon's evil is human angel thing and it would make a great contrast if the monster cat was its good form. Also it wouldn't be a big reveal for part 6 if it's just Ophanimon.
Why it could be Ophanimon: The obvious reason. Also it will work on synergy with the good meicoomon and Seraphimon instead of the antithesis of Holydramon.

Totally, and that's one more reason for Ophanimon. Wargreymon, Metalgarurumon and Seraphimon were pretty much ignored, maybe on the basis that we've already seen the build up to their evolution. A Holydramon reveal should be just as unexciting which doesn't seem to be the case.

Hype is fine, but Machinedraymon became a silent mecha because his character wasn't relevant to the story. There is so little time now for good development of even just the existing digimon.
When it come to bad guys. Alphamon seems to be indestructible, so he will probably change his mind and be good again. There is Gennai who needs more work to turn good. Yggdrassil who might or might not appear as the final baddie. Now we have that fusion monster that we are sure isn't going to take long to defeat because it's certain that we'll get to see Gatomon's Mega. Whatever is going on with Maki and dark ocean stuff. And if we suppose Raguelmon will also make an appearance then the big baddie spot is still up for grabs. That in 2 hours. And if it goes with the current pacing it will just be Ophanimon sweep destroying everyone in one attack making everything being meaningless.

Hell Alphamon being so firmly on Yggis side to begin with is weird as hell, since in almost every other iteration he either was openly hostile against him, or kinda half assed its orders and mostly did what (s)he wanted. I actually find it funny, since in CS he is almost in the same role, that Hackmon claims to be in tri: A neutral arbiter that serves as a balancing factor, who is independent of Yggdrassils orders. That is a totally different complaint, not about unanswered questions. Too early to tell without even watching the fifth movie, but if Taichi and Daigo are also on the Dark Ocean her plot should resolve there. Saying "her subplot should already be done" is stupid when we have no idea what her conclusion would be, for all we know she can end up being the final boss if the ocean dwellers "impregnate her" like they wanted Hikari, or the final deus ex machina if Daigo gets her back on track and she evolves Tapirmon to Huanglongmon.
