solar guards are basically reskinned flame sentinels. the beam cannon move is funny but theyre stuck in their animation for too long for it to be useful overall.

The benefit of the meme beam is that it targets while you're on the move and nukes shit from multiple screens away. It's really just the icing on the cake, it can also nuke bosses/rares/harbingers if it happens to target them.

there are some gems that function almost exclusively better at a lower level, such as arcane surge (increasing the level increases the mana cost required to trigger AS, and you always want AS to trigger on a single cast of whatever spell), CWDT (increasing the level increases the amount of damage required to trigger the linked spell), immortal coil (in order to be triggerable by CWDT)

If you play on softcore you can take Elementalist and it won't matter if you die because your golems can't and they will kill everything in the game (Minotaur with some investment).
If you prefer to stay alive you could go necro or something and just run around dodging shit.
In general the game isn't very hard if all you have to do is avoid shit by running around never having to go into melee or cast spells.

Never played SRS so I don't know anything about that.
Golem builds are fool proof though: for the passive tree you grab jewel sockets and life/es. For items: two clayshapers or one with a shield and the golem jewels.
That's it, have fun run around picking up loot and opening chests. You can even play it with one hand with some macros if you want.

Let's say they are already 40 Dank Forests map on poe.trade at 2c each. You set up a live search and grab the next Dan Forst map at 2c, not the one at 1c you won't get it indeed because it will be either too late or the guy won't sell it

You can do everything in the game. If you're playing softcore you can do bosses while you're afk.

I use flame golems. If you keep them at range they will shoot out their magma balls, with gmp and 4 of them you're good to go.
For leveling use 3 quicksliver flask and literally just run through the zones.
I think people used chaos and stone golems for easy boss kills with poison but I have no idea how good they are now.

The key part is the cooldown reduction for golem skills but also the increased damage for each type of golem.

I've been trying to plan build based on The Goddess Unleashed.
I haven't had a lot of success desu and most of my attempts resulted to be too much expensive for the showed dps.
For example pic related is probably my best attempt at it (if we only look at the DPS), but it's using quite a lot of expensive uniques:

an easy way to increase the DPS would be to use an Abyssus, but I'm not a fan of that item, especially if I only have 6150 hp so I'm not going to include it

I went ahead and tried it on my RF build using PoB. Replaced one of my entry level 20c RF jewel with life / burning damage with one of yours (+2 damage mods, used Area dmg and Fire dmg). Got a nice 3% RF dmg increase, not that bad, but I wouldn't dump 500c on that.

If you cap your resistances and have over 4.7k hp and 1700 unreserved mana you can try getting the projectile speed/dmg amulet along with changing wind gloves, the gloves make you a bit sluggish but if you get a decent 30% speed boots its fine.
If you cant sacrifice amulet spot then aim for spell damage on it.
Its a life/mana based build so no ES you can go full str/armor for more mitigation if you feel like it, overall it's very tanky
In t14 you should get some extra mana regen since scion doesnt benefit from 40% mom only 30%,
its mostly for bossfights where you juggle getting yourself hit once then let totem get hit and so on, theres nothing that can 1hit kill you if you have above 4.5k life and 1.5k mana unreserved
