As an Australian, i will always play a quickplay first before comp to check if our shitty 3rd world internet is at a stable 30ms or if im spiking. I'm one away from the XP punishment so I had to play it through, so I go rambo doomfist attack on rd66

I pressed Q and target the mercy and place it just in front of her knowing that the quickplay retard will valkyre to an ally and die to me mid flight. I said "got you mercy" and they started sarcastically saying 'wow teach us how to press Q!' 'Wow you ulted her so good'

Widow is literally just 96 dps with body shots. 240 dps if she lands every single headshot as soon as she hits full charge with no delay
And her mine adds 15 dps to a target

Tracer, no headshots, is 240 dps.

Winston against a single target deals 60 dps, with just one extra target he out performs widow's bodyshot dps while while having better mobility, +200 health +100 armour and a big barrier.

I dont understand why people think Widow is this unfun concept despite widow being a dps hero with noticeably lower dps than the meta heroes

Either with nothing or heavily nerf its damage. It allows him to counter characters that should be countering him (as a sniper). He already deals enough damage per second, IMO, and doesn't need to scope in to do so.

Zen is one of the two characters in the game with an actually effective defensive ultimate on top of a unique debuff and a dive complimenting heal. No where did I suggest immobile characters can't be good, but it takes a lot to make that character worthwhile when so many threats are very mobile.

-His arrows are slower than (You), made up for by funsized hiboxes. For a snipers arsenal, he has a range the size of dogshit. Widow, Ana and McCree will always have an edge over him because hitscan, but that doesn't mean they should drop after 5 meters, like my dads casket at his funeral
-His scatter doesn't serve as it's initial use, for clearing corridors, in fact often can't hit shit if you throw it into a corridor
-His Ult is nigh useless unless there is a Zarya grav, at which point Zen hardcounters it and Tracer even Junkrat does better because burst>sustain
-Sonic is very useful, but has such a long cooldown for such a small area, you're best off getting a Widow who will have a universal hallhack after 10 bodyshots

In turn
-Increase projectile speed, reduce hitbox. Gives him more range and reliability
-Scatter probs needs a full overhaul, but some guy here often goes on about how the arrow splitting repeatedly after the first shot. Sounds like it would serve its purpose better to put it bluntly
-Sonic needs a much shorter cooldown, for a larger radius at the expense of sticking for much less time. Use that shit as a heads up for whats around the corner, not to know that Lucio went in its radius once 5 seconds after that point was already taken
-Make Ult move extremely slowly and be larger, but heavily nerf central damage for a very slight buff to periphery damage. That way its much more CC, and has a reason to be popped other than DPS. If you can still push the payload with the dragons moving through it, where's the fucking CC

A more accurate explanation as to why Hanzo is underused in higher ranks, IMO, is because the players in those ranks are, obviously, higher skilled. Not impossible, but I'd say unlikely. Over time, more competition will arise and people will get bored with the old game. (There also the problem of not having user-made content. But I'm assuming Blizzard is building the tech for that, and it will eventually premiere with some other, yet unannounced game, using the same endine. A FPS Diablo perhaps.)

Wrong, Blizzard used Junkertown for PR.
The leaker got all details right before OW was even released.

Their business plan has always been to shill for new heroes/maps so they can get more players. Every time a new hero releases the community activity spikes. If we had map tools they'd be forced to release heroes continuously rather than just shilling maps+heroes.

I don't see how Scatter is gonna get a rework anytime soon, contrary to popular belief, the game has tons of wide open spaces.
The corridor meme is only coined from the fact that the maps are revolved around chokepoints. Shooting a scatter literally anywhere on a chokepoint is useless because it'll just scatter to wherever.
The only real corridors the game have are flanking routes, and even then flanking heroes don't actually use them because you are most likely going to get yourself killed when you are flanking alone.

There's some tactics: if you can't reliably kill a hero, don't engage. Or try to pick them off when someone else has already engaged them.

Another, less used tactic is for EVERYONE to focus on the number one player, so his numbers don't increase. But this kinda needs a coordinated effort, which is the opposite of a FFA, so many don't care or realize it.
