I still think Legion is a step in the right direction after WoD. There's a lot of content and a lot of it is good content, to boot.
There's just a few completely cancerous issues poisoning the game at current. And those are RNG drops/legendaries, AP, and timegating.

MoP had a lot of issues too, but it was good despite that. Legion feels like it cannot overcome these three problems with good content alone. They spoil the whole thing.

FFXIV endgame's being cleared on launch and WoW timegates the living hell out of its content.. I just hate how we're stuck at both extremes.
