I don't play Heroes but it comes up like twice a week on /feg/ so I would like to know, is it hard?
Because people always talk about counters to certain units like they need them when it looks easy to kill those units.
Like the new Lyn, she has 18 defence, just attack her with a physical attack and she will probably die.
And the new Ike, just use a red unit right?
You people make this game out to be some super hard challenge with the way you always need the best units.

Here are some reasons why I personally think Lucina v Lyn will still lean towards Lucina in the voting gauntlet, as a "[x]fag" pre-requisite, I like Cherche.

A) Regular Lucina has had multiple banners at this point in the game. We are about to enter September, and regular Lyn's current banner is the second one she's had since launch. I think it's fair to say that statistically, more people have Lucina than Lyn, giving their side more people with bonus points. I can personally attest that I haven't rolled a single Lyn since launch, but about three Lucinas. If anyone can oppose this with their own rolls, please do so.

B) The amount of people that lean towards the older/GBA characters in the series *will* be divided. It is easy to say you prefer Lyn over Lucina, but what is a "Lynfag" is hard to define. You can say you prefer Lyn over Lucina, but will someone necessarily support her when the just-as-loved Ike, Hector, and Roy are also present to support with their own battles to fight? I think most people's priorities will get the better of them, whereas the people that like Lucina likely only overlap with people who like Chrom.

C) I am not saying Lucina will win the gauntlet overall, if she does, more power to her fans, I am just saying it's not as one-sided as you might think. She could still be destroyed by Lyn followers who, after potentially losing, deflect to Ike.

Please refute these as you see fit, I am open to discourse.

I'm about to get Armads but I haven't really been training any of my main axe users since it's so rare I encounter enemy lances. I have a couple promoted units that can use them, but their weapon mastery is is all D and E.

I figure it'd be more efficient to train up a main axe user so they'll reach S mastery quickly to use it if I need it, but I'm not sure who is the best investment.

Catching up with the Awakening anime project speculation discussion from last night.

Who gives a shit about canon and "shipper's feelings"? Just say it's only one possible outcome or timeline. They're already going to be discriminating people by choosing one gender of the Avatar over the other, and plenty of anime adaptations of games where you have "choices" have been made without giving a shit about these variables.

Does anybody really want to see this "safe" shit where we never see Lucina's mother or none of the kids show up, or even if they do, we don't see their fathers? None of the characters develop any bonds or relationships with each other because everything has to be super safe and ambiguous for muh fans? That sounds boring as shit for a series I'm expected to follow for 26 weeks. Why even adapt the game at that point? Who the fuck is it for? Who the fuck would want to watch it? Just play the game at that point, it'd be a much more personal non-cookie cutter experience.

Which skill? Urvan? How many people can't double 28 speed? That's like nothing in the meta and the heroes that can't double him at that speed would be monsters like Snacki and Lilina who rape him in one hit anyway or are armors/useless heroes like Hawkeye.

His spread may not be Thundercock/Bridelia tier but he's got villager bst with a PRF, and he's melee. This makes him possibly the highest scoring arena hero in the game, above even Amelia who gets normalized thanks to being armor.

I just don't understand the point of an adaptation that completely drops the ball on one of the game's most appealing aspects. Like it or not, what drew people into Awakening primarily was the character interaction and relationship building. If an anime has literally none of that because they don't step on anybody's feefees, what's replaces that? Is it just all flat story? The story that nobody really liked to begin with? Shit feels safe, drab, boring, which I guess is how some people felt about Awakening in the first place. So double that feeling if you already think that way about it.

It really undermines the point and goes against the game itself. The 3DS games sans Echoes relied heavily on the support system almost to the point that the main narrative suffers for it. A show wouldn't even have to marry *everybody* off, they wouldn't have time for it, but a few would do, and some character's C-A friendships too. Is interaction really so big a crime? The example from the Kaga era, sure, maybe that did piss people off, but that was fucking ages ago. If they're so anxious about another outrage that they genuinely think can ruin their project, again just market it as only one possible outcome of many. Tons of games with player choices have had anime adaptions done where it chose its own route, pretty sure their fans didn't burn the company down, I don't see why fire emblem can't. If Awakening is one big shippingfest that'll have people pissed off no matter what, then maybe they should just pull that trigger or adapt another fucking game.

Of course, if they're unironically able to make a vanilla adaptation that doesn't piss off anybody or step out of its boundaries, fine, I'd still mourn the missed potential and think that in the end, it wouldn't really garner any AOTY fanfare though.

2. Then use chain challenge 1&2 on normal at 30 stamina, with 2 dancers and a healer.

That gets me to about level 36~38

Then I do the chain challenge1&2 again to get to 40. Also use this to grind HM, and SP. Hard gives more HM, but auto-battle becomes harder
