I do a lot of baiting with Cecilia and Ursula, so I'm fine with using that C skill instead of a cavbuff on Lyn. Ike is easy to deal with cause dealing with him is similar to dealing with hector - use a red, bait ike into your unit so he doesn't get his A passive (if not replaced with DC), or red mage

Lyn OTOH fucks with the DC tanks we've been using to deal with bride cordy. Probably the best defense phase units to use against her now is raventome/dragons, but then being a magic unit they'll have their buffs cancelled by lyn's bow

And not to mention lyn might run BB+ or CA3 which fucks with her counters. Luckily in arena assault we can scout the opponents, but in arena you're basically hoping you don't run into the wrong lyn

You're talking like an archer that doesn't suicide on enemy phase is The End of the meta. Tanking physical damage is much easier than tanking magic because high def units are more readily available and generally just plain better. Any high-def unit is going to survive Lyn's initiation, which still lets you bait them out of position and kill them on player phase. This is the standard answer to reinhardt for anyone lacking Julia or DC fodder anyways, and Reinhardt is much much more difficult to survive.

Fury is a waste on a player phase archer, and Life & Death requires spending 20k or a 5* roll so it's rarely worth the trouble, especially when Swift Sparrow does the same thing as L&D 2. Also goads stack with Hones, so it's worth running at least one of them, and to never move a Goad unit until you know whether you'll need its bonuses. I've gotten by without Goads for ages though, so I think I'll be fine.

Oh if you've already got lots of greens then I think you should definitely go for Lyn. That way you avoid grey's bloated hell too. Ike and Lyn have great Neutral IVs too so you don't have to worry about IV chasing unlike Lucina who looks like she'd really want +Spd.
