It's clear that you don't actually know what the image was referencing, so I'll spell it out for you.

People are making their chaos:ex rates more visible than any of the lowball rates or "price manipulator" rates by reversing the rate number that's shown so that it always shows at the top, being reversed and thus being the best rate on the page (rates are sorted from best to worst, typically speaking)
They obviously don't intend to give someone 35ex for 1c, and so when messaged about the rate make it clear that it's really 35c for 1 ex, shown ABOVE and BEFORE a rate of 1ex:34c properly listed.

People are at this point manipulating how the actual website works and displays rates in order to "price manipulate" on a meta level.
This was extremely infrequently practiced until a Reddit post showcasing the idea was made today.

The damage an end-game ED does makes it not matter how long your pack chain is because they all die in the full potential range before the skill duration is up anyways

10% inc AOE is so negligible (especially compared to the AOE that you get from the tree) that 99% of the time, no, you won't be hitting packs you wouldn't be hitting otherwise. It's like a quarter of a character increase in space, where you're already getting the contagion spread to other mobs, and the ones you're missing are only being missed because they're a screen away and cannot be reached with any possible setup.

Ok, all of you idiots seem might confused, so I'll let you in on what's going on.

I hacked into the Path of Exile server system a number of months back, and gained access to their complete network without their noticing.
I've got root, backdoor access.

The trade situation has become fucking unbearably bad, with people now intentionally mis-listing items and prices rampantly. The trade system has no integrity anymore. It doesn't even have presentation integrity. You don't even know if what you're seeing is real anymore. It's become defunct.

Meanwhile, GGG is doing nothing, while quite literally making profits off of a THIRD PARTY WEBSITE AND PROJECT, which is completely unbelievably ridiculous. Yeah, they made the API, okay, but they've put absolutely no effort into a front-end or any kind of trade regulations or scam-prevention.
I get he economy is supposed to be a free market, but even in the free-eat of free markets, some minor regulations are necessary to prevent people from completely ruining the system for everyone, which is what's happening now.

I'm sure your all aware of the other plethora of problems that have been plagueing the game for a while now, that GGG just ignores.

So, what I've done.
What I've done is, I've installed a piece of what I call "entropic malware" in an unspecified location somewhere on their network. As time goes on without answer for the glaring trade issue, and without addressing the mass of bugs and other minor issues plaguing the game, this "entropic malware" will cause the game and/or servers (which one is it, Chris? Have fun figuring it out ;)) to become wonkier and wonkier, and you'll start experiencing more crazy things in-game, as well as more crashes, freezes, and server errors.

Maybe you haven't played in a while, but in Legacy league, they changed how AOE works, the more you stack, you start getting diminishing returns.

If you have the AOE from the tree (which you should) as well as an AOE gem on your contagion, then you pretty much max out on how much AOE you can get on contagion. Anything past that gives you so little AOE that it's pointless to have it. It's like an eighth of an inch added on, maybe less.

It's not about having none, it's about the 10% increased AOE from Breath of the Council being so pathetic that it's not a selling point of the weapon, and neither is the chaos damage since you can get more spell damage on a wand.
The skill duration is also shit because it's much better to apple stacks of blight and cast contagion and essence drain faster with cast speed from a wand than it is to have those skills last .10 seconds longer.

There's really no way of scaling their nuke that doesn't also scale fireball. They're both fire, they're both area, they're both spell, they're both cast by the minion. i farm t14s with this character, i just run shaped channel for scavenger div cards, i've run it dozens of times and my health bar barely even moves

went from full to nothing, 51% life regen per second, 93% reflect mitigation with yugul/headsman/rampart cluster, i can run phys reflect t14s with no issue

does shock take 50% off my reflect mitigation reducing it to 43%, or do i just take 50% more than the 7% i would have already taken? i'm not sure how damage mitigation works

new player here that doesn't know shit about the game, plz no flame

i'm level 92 currently on my terminus flicker, got acuity and my 6l recently as well as good rares and i'm like a day's worth of afk farming from kaom's heart at which point the build will be pretty much maxed apart from tiny min-max 2% more dps for 60 exalt gg rares and maybe a headhunter

i'm farming like 1500 chaos a week or something running t12+ maps and the occasional uber lab whenever i feel like switching things up

my question is where the fuck do i go from here? this is pretty much the first build i've played to endgame and i'm having loads of fun with it but i'm not sure if there are other more efficient ways of farming currency or just better uses for my time. should i make a hardcore character? is ssf even fun? is there a good source of exp from 90 to 100? how much does a mirror even cost? are those 500%+ move speed uber lab farmers a meme? what's the most stupidly strong build right now that a couple thousand chaos can get me whenever i'm bored with this one? should i just go back to dota? kill me
