Damn it, can't squeeze the victory out of this D300 Mateus. My team of Lightning (USB, BSB2, OSB), Penelo, Fran, Tyro and Ramza can't do enough damage fast enough. My team of Lightning, Penelo, Fran, Shantotto (CSB only) and OK can do enough damage but without wall (RW has to be Cloud), the scripted double Blizzaja nukes me to fuck, even with three layers of magic breaks, shellga, hp stock from Penelo USB and a bit of party ice res from magicite.

Those banners have uniques in them, which all stink at this point other than the wall ones that aren't on the banner. And no 6* relics either, so you are way more likely to get garbage. 30th anniversary should be next month, so if you don't see anything on real banners you want, save for that since there are a ton of banners.

Did Ice with no en-element no imperil Sephiroth OSB. They hit for about 45K each. it wasn't an amazing clear, but it was under 1 minute.

I wish OK's burst commands had a higher modifier. They really do piss for damage, when it's usually the other way around for NE stuff (higher modifier to compensate for not hitting elemental weaknesses).

Only a few characters use them now (Soleil, Luneth, Randi) but they're definitely the third most important type after power and support in the future. They're usually used for weapon and attack passives, like for Aileen, Orlandu and Tidus. Do the last mission, it's guaranteed to drop a power/guard/tech/support giancryst which are all the important ones. The 8th mission also has a chance but it's only 80% instead of 100%.

Make HP pools so big that Curada doesn't cut it.
Add HP bubble effects so that if you aren't healed to 3x your max HP you're screwed.
Introduce true reraise (come back at the start of your turn, can't be killed twice)
Add damage to the heals, think ashe but stronger.
Heals that buff as strong as singers without locking them out.

The second one is the next logical step given Brave Frontier as a guide. Expect Minwu and 7 donuts with one or all of the above.

If you don't want to deal with the effects from the mirrors, you need to target esuna and dispel at certain ones to neuter it. You can always use raise to instantly KO one, but it'll still explode. If you have medica(s) ready to be set off before you do this, that could help. Raise is also pretty good for the guado guy, since that fucker is going to be buffing the fuck out of Evrae. Bring poisona to deal with Evrae's poison, as it is cheap as fuck to hone

She's like 90% of an unenhanced Orlandu. Much lower ATK, but her Divine Ruination becomes identical to Orlandu's before enhancements. She's mostly good because

1. She allows people without a 5* chainer of their own to chain with a friend Orlandu or Dark Veritas and finally experience the real chaining meta.

2. She allows flexibility for a person with Orlandu or Dark Veritas to provide two of their own chainers and bring a different character as a friend unit.

3. 10-man trials don't allow dupes and she's one of the few characters to perfectly share chaining frame data with another character (two actually, soon to be three with Sephiroth).

She's not an outright replacement for Orlandu so much as she is a complement to him. If you have an Orlandu or Dark Veritas of your own it might be worth enhancing her for the flexibility. If you're lucky enough to have both Orlandu AND Dark Veritas then she's not necessary. As for the Nier units, it's kind of hard to directly compare them. A2 and 2B are both way stronger, but both can only chain with themselves so they won't be as useful in the 10 man trials unless you bring two of 9S's TMR. 2B also requires a setup for her chains and A2 doesn't have any imperil. Overall the Nier units are much stronger but Agrias is easier to use and has more flexibility with chaining partners.

Well I finally fucking did it with this team but I'm finding there are struggles. Namely Zack & Ramza dont dish out nearly enough damage and Tyro is basically just there for SG and heal spam.

Ive been having to rely on full heal RWs like another Echo or Aerith to not eat total shit. What can I do to fix this in the near future? I imagine I will probably swap out Zack for Bartz with his USB if I am lucky to get it, and hoping for a really good healing replace for Tyro.

How much of an advantage is that though? It feels oftentimes that your second unit will be a good chunk weaker since it's missing many of the good TMR your main chainer probably has or certain really good weapons.
Raising a second A2 for instance to be as good as your first and also not worse than the ones you could have as friends sounds really troublesome.

It's good if content "requires" (not 100% mandatory, but makes it way easier) a character that covers a niche you can't provide yourself, like a strong finisher, bard (Ramza, Lunera, Roy), tank (Basch, Mistair if you're unlucky enough to not pull her), Ayaka/CG Fina, or CG Sakura. If you can provide these all yourself then yeah it's better to bring a friend chainer. You're right that spreading your resources thin is a problem, I luckshittered my way into two A2 and my first is near BiS while the second just has table scraps figuratively speaking. Damage scales exponentially versus ATK so it's better to pour all your resources into one character.

Nope, I've been grinding Sealion exclusively since I can guarantee a sub minute clear with Refia/Galuf/Relm/Penelo/Ramza every time. My ice espers have broken a good number of level caps already but I still don't have Taharka. If you only have Shout, yep, pretty much. As Eiko is in the group there with Guardian Mog, you probably don't have to worry much about having him geared a bit towards mind. Zack's chain offers the same attack buff as Shout (swapping out hastega for crit stuff) though, right? You could look at your other SBs to see if there's someone else to fit into the party. If you have Ramza's SSB2 (Chant), that'd help out a lot more than SSB1

So what's the realistic chance of getting an ace for my A2?

Actually 2B is one of THE MOST useful units in 10man trials, but not the way you think.
Her self destruct skill bypasses both physical and magical immunity. All of them are gimmicked so you have to switch between mages and physical units, but 2B can just ignore that mechanic entirely.
Means you never have to switch shit or ever farm mage TMs.
