How do you guys decide who to record dive? I can't seem to be able to decide on which character to make that compromise of limited materials. Supports or healers before damage dealers maybe since they're more universally used and rarely need to take them out of the group?

So I was thinking about how magicite dungeons are the new tough challenge on the block. Outside of whales, we won't be seeing many sub 30 second clears until people have time to max out their espers and acquire very specific combinations of powerful relics. Alright, so we'll get there eventually. But what about the next tier of dungeons, the 4* espers? How are we gonna sub 30 THOSE? And to add to that, there is still another tier of dungeons beyond the tier we don't even have yet. Just how high is RK's powercreep gonna climb to make sub 30 5* magicite clears possible for non-whales?

Depends on who you like & general game needs for the most part, or certain bonuses obtained from the dive. Some characters can benefit if they can unlock a school from RD: Faris, for example, can learn Dancer 5*. On top of her regular support access, this makes her an excellent debuffer for most content. It is helpful that you have a relic for her, if possible, but I wouldn't blame someone if they needed to do that for certain Cid Missions.

I did not pull for the LMR, and I think it would depend on how I wanted to use her. For now, I've used her for USB spam in torments or USB->OSB entrust chains for magicite. Neither would benefit from doublecast.

I never tried alph as a RW. How much easier does that make it? I've always just struggled with the gimmick and its timing on top of having summoners that are on the weaker side, or basically healer/summoners like Eiko. Would I need to bring yshtola for wall in that case (instead of RW it) or can you nuke him before the damage is an issue with alph RW?

At any rate my best 5 summoners (imo) are:

Things are a lot different now - the game has improved significantly. Skill inheritance, free summons on new banners, 4* unit rate swap makes them more common than 3*, tons of other things that I can't remember. It would have better to start a few weeks ago during Starter Support for a great banner and free orbs, but I think brand new players still have access to that banner. The free unit on the CYL banner is a damn good deal too.

Alphinaud's burst just does a lot of damage in a hurry because of EnWind and quickcast. It's not that it kills him especially fast, it just lets you use a lot of summon attacks without running out. It lets you not worry about the gimmick as much, although if the person you use the RW on can use the right element on the barriers, the quickcast can help you take them down without thinking too hard.

I didn't know it was considered dead, I still play it actively (probably more than RK) but honestly the hardest content is the MP and the MP is faceroll right now. Even though the next tier of difficulty is about 1 month away, the current one is WAY too stupidly behind our power level.

The cost of upgrading is the same but they're a lot more generous with the feathers. You pull in maybe 6k per week normally.

And in addition you can now grind them out in battle - after combat your units get "hero merit" which can be cashed in for feathers in a 1:1 ratio. The amount of merit earned depends on the difficulty of the map but for high end ones you earn like 4 per hero.

Normal Camilla is basically skill fodder and not valued highly as a standalone unit. Lyn in her red sword form is good, but not great.
The new Lyn is probably one of the top units in the game, which you can get for free on the CYL banner releasing soon.
There will probably new versions of Camilla if you're a fan of that character, so don't worry too much if she's not good right now. Also, if you start over completely, you get 15 orbs and the first roll on any banner is free, so that's 5 pulls right away to determine your reroll start. The best will likely be getting Lyn for free, and then rolling on CYL for Ike, Roy, or Lucy.

Personally I'm planning on just awakening any 4*s I get first and saving pots for 5*s. That's because I can pull fresh 4*s more easily. I did it with rikku, EV, 9S. I have one at max level to use, any new ones can stay benched until I max their lb, then I awaken the maxed lb unit and he replaces my other one. The old one just becomes expedition fodder. I just save the pots for my 5*s, that is if I could pull any fucking 5*s

If anything 4chan has made me really appreciate how much effort people put into their art; it's alot of work and talent that goes into a good video game.

It might not seem like much compared to all the other amazing things in video games, animie and art in general but someone put alot of time and effort into making the lightning and ground background in felicaitas town, and put in a little ledge for us to admire his/her work. It makes you appreciate how much talent goes into things that in grand scheme of things, even in the construction of a game like FFBE, would seem very inconsequential and irrelevant... until you take them out, or they're done poorly.

So here's to you, mr/mrs background designer; and arts in general! Your work is appreciated!

For Omega all you need is VoF or Shout/Pilot's Steel as an RW.
The hard part would be surviving the first part without any heals, the second part gives you a steady source of heals and damage (as long as you don't overdo it) and you should've put the RW up as the first form was dying, same for the second form.
With Guardian Mog as backup, you should be able to take out the last form before it gets into wipe territory

I also brought my own Haste. Tried with Cloud USB RW on Ayame first. Shit sucked so I switched to Zeid RW-ing Cid Rapes and it went pretty smoothly.
