It was designed to be a slow themepark cute mmo but thanks to the BR's hype, imc managed to make the most profitable cash grab in the history of gaming for such a small company, plus, the game is doing well on it's niche and the costs of running tos is little to none. also, if needed, they could eventualyl fix all the problems casuals had with the game and "sell it" to level up, nexon NA and other shitty companies, the product is solid as fuck nad mr kim still has a good name. this game is very original and there's no other game similar to tos around, the rest is pure generic weebtrap with huge paywalls and bad gameplay and replay value

unfortunately, wolfknights is faded to be labeled as a a genetic 3d shit, but if you watch the videos, you can see mr kim's touch in the skills so it maybe worth a try for people who like his ro/tos battle style but it's hard to push this one forward, the name is bad, the setting is bad and remember that BR hype I mentioned earlier in this post? well, it was a good cashgrab for imc but it a lot of people got mad because of the bad launch and this means that wolfknight couldn't enjoy the possible same hype "from the genius behind ragnarok online" meme

regardless of this, I will still give a try on wolfknights if a next beta shows up, and I'm most sure half of this general will be there too, even if ironically

Archer is a dead class outside of Falconer.

Their PvE single target isn't good enough to delete bosses, like Doppel/Murm, and Falconer turns single target into AoE so there's no need for an AoE class. Even if there was, Elementalist+Warlock completely dominates the AoE game so hard that no class can even come close to competing. There's also no room for shit classes in PvE group content, because there's a 5 party member limit, and you need at least 3 support (Cleric C2, Falconer C3, Pass) and 1 DPS (Murmillo, Doppel, Fencer), so there's only 1 slot for a non-meta class. That one slot would be better off taking a meta support than a non-meta DPS anyway.

In PvP, one of the most popular classes in the game has a skill that makes their party immune to missile damage, so Archers are completely removed by this single skill.

If you're not interested in group content, Musketeer and Cannoneer are about the same. Musketeer is much cheaper to gear, because you only have to worry about Musket, and Musket is the easiest orange weapon to make. Cannoneers have to have a decent Cannon and main hand weapon, while also having to do the tedious Appraiser hidden quest or buy the Appraiser advancement off the market.

Dont take bash if you take Wagon Wheel. Your only goal is to knockup an enemy for your earthquake Punish to destroy on a massive AoE.
Crosscut is amazing damage even though its mainly used to proc bleeding. Maxing this over Cartar which is a massive mistake to take (I'd honestly take all points from Cartar because its an extremely shit skill but it barely helps on anything else so put 3 on it just to get the attributes which can hopefully help a bit). Skull Swing is meh but I wouldnt max it, because Vert Slash in the end is going to do all the damage in the combo.
Taking 1 into Mordschlag from Punish is acceptable imho. Mordsch 100% crits cloth-types and it can easily whip a 20-30k crit at around level 300.
Dont take any points into Double Pay Earn since its a shitty gimmick skill and you wont 1-shot anything unless you plan to farm weak mobs for drops. IF you really feel like it, you can take it from Zornhau. (Zornhau against 50k+ HP mobs is your only hope to 1-shot)
Max Sturtzhau. It's quite amazing how much damage the skill deals. I personally spam it with Zwertch a lot because it hits reliably, has 2 charges, amazing scale, and it has only 2 seperate crit chances (its a fake multihit with 2x3 so 3 fake multihits and 3 fake multihits which both have 1 instance that decides their crit and procs concentrate and blessing etc. whereas Zwertch does this on a 2x4 method)

SR: Can farm longer and doesn't use too much resources but can't do harder content without whaling.

Murm, Doppel, Elememe: High damage and does a lot of content other classes have a hard time doing; but runs out of steam really fast and needs to keep using potions or wait till their long ass cd is off.

They all have their viability, some more than others but it still doesn't change the fact they are viable.

I play shinobi-murm, SR, and elememe. I know all their strengths and weaknesses so I use their strongest assets where I need them.

You are just being lazy that you just want 1 character that does it all. If that's your thing fucking make a Cleric 2, bokor 3, sadhu1, pd2. That's a really well rounded class that can pretty much DO everything. Nobody is telling you not to.

There's a process called Awakening done by Alchemist, they can "awaken" a random extra bonus on your weapon or armor (like, +25 earth damage, 10 accuracy, 20 dark resist, 500 hp, and etc).

This process eats one potential from the item, but if you sacrifice one of those stones, you can do it without losing potential, which si great because while the effects could be very good (like +75 matk on a staff or 1k hp on armor), being random means that you'll get shit 90% of the time, and potential is too good to burn this way
