Early R8 was the best. People used to complain endgame maps had almost no mobs before R8 was released and Blue Spion Archers were a bit scary because of Spiral Arrow. Then R8 was released and people got their first traumatic experience in Inner Wall 8. Didel Tower Shield was one of the most desired items in the game and everyone had to stop leveling up to make their Virtov set or a welfare Grynas set to proceed.

Man, how I miss grinding parties. Alemeth and Evac was kinda boring, but it was fun to grind at Storage, Maven and then at Timerys, Jeromel Park and Nobreer Forest.

It was a time when players dared to talk to one another. You'd find a grind party, hell there were even questing parties just from how brutal the mobs were.

Now, all you get are completely mute players who can't even lift a finger to say hi or thanks in queues. Whales that would rather solo queue and use clear vouchers than even try to get a party together, until theyre 317, do their pract quest, and then afk fish or necro farm. It's not even a meme anymore to ask if this game is online or if you're just playing with a bunch of bots.

I agree, it's nothing surprising, but you're wrong about any build being able to solo Uphill. For instance, single target builds are unable to do it. And by shitty build, I really mean this character build is shit. It's a Cleric2Bokor3Oracle1Kabba2. My damage comes almost exclusively from zombies and Damballa.

While I agree Transmit Prana is one of the best "self" buffs in the game, Bokor3 has a better burst (and it's spammable!). After the last big patch, Damballa became much more reliable and it doesn't have a target limit.

Against bosses, Sadhu3PD2 seems to be better in terms of single target damage, but, in terms of AoE damage, I'm pretty sure Bokor3PD2 is better. A good whaled Bokor3PD2 can easily wipe entire Solmiki floors with no problem and without relying too much on long CD skills and on Pass.

You fucked up a bit but there's a few options to make something useful. You can make an Alchie (Wiz3Linker2Alch3) or a Necro (Wiz3Linker2Sorc1Necro2 or Wiz3Linker2Necro3). You can also make something more farming oriented (Wiz3Linker2Thauma3).

There are quite a few pet/minion/summon classes, but none of them involves micromanagement. Hunter, Falconer and Sorcerer have command skills, but they're very different from each other. Hunter uses a ground companion, while Falconer can call a hawk to use different skills. Sorcerer summons boss' shadows from cards and can command them to guard a location or ride them to use some of their skills. Necromancer's minions have different minions with their own AI and Bokor is a mix between minion AI and command skills. They summon zombies from enemies killed on a magic circle. They attack enemies nearby and you can throw a skull to command zombies to a specific location, you can explode them dealing massive damage and you can have your zombies following you in a train that damages enemies.

You are talking about bokor, sorcerer/necromancer, and falconer/hunter. You can control some of them like your sorcerer's summon by riding it or ordering it to attack or guard a point. But most of them are auto pilot and the AI can be really wonky sometimes.
