I mean, sure EQs are neat and usually mean a batch of really good characters, but the Wolverine/X-Men EQ is still quite recent (only 3 updates/months ago), whereas there was ~10 months between Strange's EQ and Wolvie's. It'd be too much too quickly.

There's a reason the mutie mats have a cap. If people had been hoarding ever since they finished Jean or whatever, they'd most likely be able to max Apocalypse as soon as the patch goes live. But to combat this NM could just put some restrictions on the method of unlocking him. Apocalypse is probably going to be like Odin in the sense that he's a NT2 unlocked in a unique way.

It depends on how mutants will be unlocked. If they're new specials, then he could be tied to a quest pack and slow down progress enough to have a gap between (potentially) next week and Thor Ragnarok. New Avengers would probably be pushed to rifts and a bunch of new cards. Gwenpool goes full biosub.

If it's new story missions, then he'll be there and the new mutants will take up the new chapter(s). Potentially raising of materials cap.

Either way, after Apocalypse, there will be at least 1 more native T2 added because Thor Ragnarok will be released end of October and November will be skipped so NM doesn't have to force an update during Thanksgiving break. Then December will have to hold people over until the second Tuesday of January, after New Year's.

I bet Apoc will be an specifc counter to Jean with some sort of gimmick like 100% dmg reduction against mutants or something, because the way TL is now no one can reliably take on her.

Anyone thinks HIM uniform is shit?
I have the uniform upgraded all the way to Mythical, and his damage still sucks compared to the top meta characters. His DPS wasn't high enough to do the DMM relay whereas my Sharog and Jean tear through that mode in 20 seconds. And WBU, don't even get me started on that. Ithanos is still useless in that mode outside of stage 1. Jean, Sharog, amd Strange are still required to beat the harder stages. His uniform made his survivability one of the best in the game for sure, but his DPS is about the same level as Prox and Sugi. He is still a few notches below Jean and Strange in terms of overall strength. They should make his skill 5 drop twice ad many meteors if you have the uniform at Mythical. The cost for buying and upgrading this uniform is not justified with the low payoff. The most powerful villain in the Marvel universe plays like an ant compared to the Phoenix and robo-lady.
