He's only as good as his team. There are infinitely better picks if you want to do what he tries to do (ie. tank).

Both his ults are forgettable. Varian does the same thing with taunt and he actually does damage and can avoid damage. Decimate is so fucking worthless, it should be a crime. Literally all he does successfully is -maybe- reposition a hero, but since throw doesn't prefer heroes (which is stupid), it's at risk of losing all its usefulness. After throw, he's just a limp auto attacker with arguably the worst damage out of all the tanks.

In fact, except for his first level talent quest, he has nothing to increase his damage potential, so he can't even build that way.

It's irritating, because he's actually kind of fun because of his gimmick, but he brings nothing else to the table, and a huge liability late game where his throw loses a lot of utility (throw behind a wall or whatever).

Fuck, man. He's just not worth playing.

Lucio is a slippery fairly high sustain 'team' healer, that can either help peel and keep people out of the enemy team, or he can speed his team up and make some shit real scary (diablo walking at you at >mounted speed for flip+charge isolation, butcher running at you stupidly fast, arthas running at you stupid fast).

His two ultimates are primarily utility oriented, one being an increase to his healing with optional aoe damage and slow, and the other providing a big shield to shut down things like ring of frost + apoc wombo combo's.

I then later tried again and placed Gold 5. I've since given up on Ranked. I am too trash at this game. I literally play a different character for every match, so my technical skill is surprisingly hot garbage. I don't know anything about how picks related to maps besides the obvious because it doesn't come up in QP. If I was stuck first banning right now, I'd pick Genji or Xul because that's what people are saying is broken, even though there are almost certainly better picks. I don't own Dehaka and can't play Li Ming/Kael'thas worth a damn, so when we need global presence or a Mage, I struggle to find decent replacements. The whole thing is honestly a wash.

He has trouble face-tanking huge damage, which isn't what a main tank should do anyway. WoWfags think a tank should be immortal alone and eat up damage, when that's not the case in this game.

He does lack traditional escape, but he has ways around it in some situations and if played right (toss over wall disengage, underutilized IMO).

It just comes down to people not knowing how the game works in general and blaming the hero because they want something OP to justify their purchase.

You can get an insane lead with him, thats his job, then you transition to being all about pure peel. Ever have the positioning and forethought to Q those diving tanks away from your squishies? Ever throw someone AWAY from your team as a disengage for an unfavorable situation? Ever use body check with reduced enemy healing versus enemy healing %damage "counters" like Malth and Leoric? Garrosh doesnt get the damage other tanks get because his talents(mainly at lv 7) have an answer for every archetype of damage your enemies will throw at you. At the start of the game you need to have a game plan, Garrosh isn't like other heroes who have like 1-2 ways to play depending on enemy comp and map, hes got a build for every situation. Body Check into healing reduction -> fuck self healing tanks or caught lifestealing enemy DPS; Oppression into lv 20 decimate talent -> -60% dmg output on an enemy's ability damage output; Warbreaker into Intimidation -> Auto Attack based heroes have 40% less attack speed with a 1 sec down time on the debuff if you complete the quest(keep in mind they dont need to be pulled to get the debuff). Throw build completely counters enemy dive comps but is arguably the harder of his builds because of what you sacrifice in talents for it. Warbreaker into Mortal combo with into the fray, into titanic strength at twenty -> Your grab and throw becomes ranged harrass, that's right you dont HAVE to throw that tank you grabbed AT YOUR OWN TEAM you can throw him at his own team, crazy right? Into the fray requires skill and timing, your squishies will never die.

Doubtful. Not sure what they were really going for with his rework. They've nerfed his doublesoak build (talent tiers too late to be useful) and berfed his durability (hardened bones later, removed block, while somewhat improving sustain, weird fuckery with his AAs to improve his PvE/waveclear (which was always good; this doesn't really change anything)

No particular changes in terms of peel or engage or being a mobile ward. Ominous Wraith @13 maybe but still too late for solo tank. Shroud@20 seems really good too, but again, super late game so probably not really hero role defining

Because in SC2 the sentry shield doesn't change if it's a projectile, laser, melee, or whatever, it just checks if it does "Ranged damage" and then reduces that amount of damage.

Who knows if HotS still uses the ranged damage flag, from what we've seen they might've split the damage types to Physical, Spell, and whatever tag Percentual damage uses, possibly overwriting the old flags.

He gets blown up so fast that he usually dies before Adrenaline Rush can have any impact, and he has no real way to escape danger other than Revolution Overdrive since they took away Bolt from him.

As for talents, Raynor is pretty one build right now, Blizzard hates that even if it's healthy for the hero.
