There's 81 lores total in the game. That's 27 servants total that you can max their skills.

Kaleido and the 25% command ones are invaluable.

There are a lot of event CEs later on but the only one that really stand out are fragment 2030(for support) and holy maiden(and it's other derivatives). Some of them are kind of niche though like maid in Halloween or the one that gives 80% attack power + taunt for 3 turns.

The guaranteed 5* is 2 after Mordred. (and I think they were concurrent IIRC) I'd say Okita should be higher priority, since she's limited, and Medea Lily, jack, nursery rhyme and the london servants stay in the pool, and scat seems to come back more frequently (there'll be a day where she's the only servant on rateup during the bit with her, golden boy etc.) Scat's first gacha also introduces a top tier CE, which might be worth knowing as well.

The point is that "need" was always relative to the context of the Nerofest 40AP. If your team is too weak to beat it, nerofest will give you the materials needed to ascend your team to the point that you can beat it. This is a literal use of the word "need" in terms of necessary conditions.
If you sincerely thought "Nerofest will give me all the materials I want", you're fucked in the head. The fact that no-one here "needs" anything doesn't suddenly mean want and need have the same meaning.

It's not hard, but just draws the fight out

like 80% of the time, you can kill it fine, and 3-NP singleturn wave clear the servants at the end.

then 15% of the time, you kill him fine, but due to shitty rng on the q/a/b cards you get, you can't triple NP when wave 2 starts

and 5% of the time, due to a horrible confluence of bad rng on card draws and him chain critting, you actually lose a servant or two (I use 2berserker + waver) and then you have to fight wave 2 servants with your backlines you were bond grinding on who have no CE.

Sure you can still win, but having to do it in 10 turns with roach and regend is kind of annoying

It works great for the rest of the nerofest stuff.

It even works great for the dragon... when it does it's just too dependent on rng card draws during the dragon wave.

good draw is 40k damage in one turn buster chain, if you get all arts and quick cards for waver you get maybe 9k

on the other hand; if you ONLY get buster cards, you won't be able to charge NP if you kill the dragon too fast.

Basically, this takes 4 turns if it goes well (buster/arts/brave chain the dragon down and nuke wave 2 in one turn)

But when some shit like you kill the dragon and someone's NP isn't fully charged, and single or double NP (Waver + 1 berserker, or just 1 berserker) and everyone is left with like 2k hp and you need a second or third turn if you can't get alternating chains. Then it takes 5 or 6 turns

or you only get waver quick/arts on the dragon and can't kill it before it crits one or both berserkers to death, then it ends up taking like 10 turns charging up your backline guys' NP with standard attacks in the interim
