So is ranked mode basically just luck? You can't communicate with your teammates in any fashion so unless you are way better than your current rank you can't carry in any way. It's like playing any other ranked video game except with no voice chat.

Find the fishy. First your team needs to spread the fuck out and hit every geyser they can. Low light geysers can be safely ignored, but high light geysers will be close to where Goldie is.

Once you find them, your team needs to split into 2 groups. One group should be pounding the fish for eggs and the other should be ferrying them back to the basket. I think MAYBE you can just have 1 squid on the fish but since I've played it once and failed catastrophically I don't know how viable this is.

It requires a fuckton of coordination so, good luck getting that from randos.

Basically half the sub-weapons are great at stopping them short term and there's always long range weapons and a myriad of disruptive tools that wreck Snipers now.

Not when the frontline is so chaotic and inconsistent as it is on RM. Not in S2 with almost every kit having a way to shit on Snipers with stuff like Inkstorm/Tenta-missiles/Inkjet/Stingray. And thats' not even counting Toxic Mist subs and Suction Bombs which are also prime Sniper stoppers. Even a Point Sensor can stop a Charger.

Also, Dynadong is still the best inker, and with only Mini and H3 contesting it (neither of which seem to be desirable by noobies right now), it's only natural that it has its downsides.

For those of you having issues with griller, they're only going to go after the person that the laser is targeted. If you aren't targeted, get behind the fucking thing and shoot it. If you are, then run to high ground. They can't climb up walls. The weird staircase thing in front of the basket is a good example of where to go.

Same with glowflies. If you have the fireflies, then retreat somewhere high up. Everyone else needs to focus down the incoming mobs. Going across the grate to that small area of inkable ground can also work to funnel them.

Posted this in /v/. Don't know how many people now but I see people complaining about grillers on high tide when it's probably one of the easiest waves.

Also, is there nobody in S rank? I just got to S rank in both splat zones and rainmaker. Game can't find a soul. inb4 nolife, I worked the last five days.
