I already got a very helpful answer but I'll post again.

I never really touched the brushes in splatoon. But I just got Splatoon2 yesterday and just started to use the inkbrush. It seems pretty fun and I do well with it, but I'm also being paired off with low-level people as of now.

Is the inkbrush viable? or are their better options. I saw someone with a thicker brush and a bunch of movement speed and ink recovery buffs. Is that better? I love the inkbrush's flailing attack, it covers so much ground. Does the bigger brush cover as much from the attack? I just got some pretty sick clothing loaded with Ninja, speed buffs and ink recovery.

I find that when a team focuses on one boss at a time, all bosses and enemies converge on the same location, causing congestion. This usually happens because early in the round, everybody rushes to the first boss that spawns, kills it, drops the eggs, then the team runs off to then next boss they see.
SR tends to work out better if the players travel in pairs to opposite sides of the map.

You can earn tickets playing Salmon Run.
The whole reason Salmon Run is a timed event is because if it was always active, people could just grind that for tickets and bonuses and when they had like 50 tickets they would go back to the MP Lobby and not come back to Salmon Run for 1000 multiplayer matches, leaving Salmon Run deserted for a long period of time.
Additionally, Tickets are a bonus, not a buff, to players who show dedication to the game by making time to play Salmon Run or grind for 10 hours in the singleplayer.
I mean, remember how you used to only be able to earn Super Shells by participating in Splatfests? Again, this is a game that gives bonuses to dedicated players, which gives incentive for other players to become dedicated, therefore lengthening the lifespan of the game

Why would anyone EVER want the Charger for SR.
Basically any weapon that slows you down while firing is going to be a huge detriment in SR, as you need to backstep away from the salmonids while firing in many situations.

It's all a matter of strategy. Every gear piece minus the amiibo and single player stuff can be found on Splatnet. What makes it exclusive is the main ability on it, as they have a different one than the one found in-game. For example the Pilot Goggles just went up with Sub Defense Up instead of Sub Power Up

Specials in terms of skill required to use effectively.
(1=easiest, 8=hardest)

They are fire-and-forget. sure you can wait around for enemies to cluster, but you can shoot it from anywhere without having to get into a risky situation, nor do you have to commit to the special, just do one quick aim, fire, and then you can continue with the objective.
>2: Inkstorm
Again, it's fire-and-forget. Although, since it's more for inking turf and weakening than splatting, it does require some strategy and it has a shorter range than the Tenta-Missiles requiring you to get closer to danger to use it properly.
>3: Ink Armor
Once again, fire-and-forget. The most effective use of the Ink Armor is just before your entire team is about to engage the enemy team, but it's also the most viable special to use for the quick ink refill. Throwing a bomb, popping Ink Armor and then throwing another bomb can get you more bang out of your buck.
>4: Inkjet
Requires a good aim for splatting players, and a good grasp of the hitbox and range of the inkjet's projectile to ink turf efficiently. The inkjet's projectile tends to catch on the corner of walls when aiming at turf from a low angle, so that must be accounted for. The user must also stay vigilant of attackers that sneak up below or use a long ranged weapon. Many players also do not realize that you can enter squid form to quickly drop down, and exiting squid form will have you fly up again. This can be used to confuse enemies and avoid attacks.
>5: Bomb Launcher (each type rated individually, A=Easiest E=Hardest)
A common issue with every type of bomb launcher is that you lose speed, cannot cancel the special and need to be within a decent range of enemies.

Possibly the best launcher for self-defense as you can overwhelm enemies with an army of sliding bombs that will severely limit their dodging ability. May be the best launcher at inking turf, but the bombs being limited to moving along the ground only can make it situational. Best used in CQC and from a height.
>E: Autobomb Launcher
Functions similarly to the Splat Bomb Launcher, but with far greater splatting potential, as enemies in range of the thrown Autobomb are homed in on and the Autobomb gains an exceedingly long fuse. This homing/long-fuse mechanic makes it far easier to trap enemies for an easy splat
