Tried to beat Lloyd Lunatic using this strategy but using Julia instead of Robin and my Julia can't kill the blue lance guy behind the rock.

Are same turn reinforcements really so bad? And I mean bad to the point of making a game be shit, like what people say about FE6. Like they're annoying sure, and unfair I guess, but every time I see discussion about FE6, the number one complaint is that.
I've always just perceived them as the AI having an advantage, like how Fog of War doesn't work on them, or how RNG generally favors them since there's more of them to waste.

Xavier not only has a leadership star, he has wrath, charge, and great shield. He also has A rank axes and bows. He has enough defense and HP to take a hit from the chapter 20 boss and can ORKO in return with the brave bow equipped despite the boss' scroll preventing regular crits. You can use him to deplete ballistae if you're playing slow. He even gets supported by Leaf. Definitely a good unit.
Doga is good early on particularly in maps where mounts must dismount, and he's a reasonable choice for endgame as he can wield the Gradivus.

This underleveled Reinhardt was easily my MVP for this infernal and let me do the Infernal map and Sharena quests both in one go.
He provided Goad support to make sure Xander could take on both the Bow Cav and the Fighter, finished the Fighter and Lance Cav, and put enough chip damage with Luna on Lloyd to let me finish him with Sharena.

Buffed Rein did most of the job, with Cecilia and Freddy only cleaning at the end. Olivia and heavy use of reposition made it so the enemies could never hit one of my unit.
