I just want fast games/wins to get arenas while I wait for new set. If the deck I focus on gets completely invalidated on set release, so be it. At least I'll have some arenas to do while I wait for it.

why dont you just play arena. Its literally babbymode right now and anyone decent can go infinite with the influx of noobs AND the +1 wins inflating the average.

Im normally between 5 and 6 win average in arena, after the frost festival Im at 11 runs and only one of them was sub 7 wins (4-3 with a god awful paladin deck with no weapons or steeds) and Ive had 3 12 wins.

Feels good to just watch the gold go up while accumulating dust and having fun at the same time.

Lads, can someone explain the new card/pack system when the new expansion comes out?

Is it true that you can no longer get a duplicate of ANY rarity until you have collected the whole set?

Like if I get 2 of common X in my first pack opening, will I open common card X ever again until I have collected every other card's normal maximum?

That can't be right because there are 135 cards, of which some are legendary so lets say 135x2 = 270 which is 54 packs?

That just doesn't seem right.

What I love about Hearthstone is that it is more fun when I see them screw up like this and think about the people who actually spend money on this

OW was created to be the new FPS competitive sensation, to go toe to toe with CS and CoD, but Blizz kept holding the right to hold any lans/events, so most investors interested in the game stepped back besides the laughable high salaries the players were demading for a game which were not even 1 year old, and lets not get started on how shitter is the playerbase of OW to the point they are aggressive to the game becoming a e-sport, because for them its more fun to jerk off to their flashy plays on plebbit than seeing people dedicate time,effort and money into the legacy of the game

And HOTS is where Blizz is shilling with all their resources right now, but its not even giving that good results if you compare the effort they are putting into selling this sinking ship

I understand you're frustrated but not once did I say Blizzard was doing anything correct.
I'm saying the playerbase isn't guilt-free.
Blizzard would have a much easier time with the direction of the game if they didn't spend so much time trying to pander to what they see on social media.
And given that the average intelligence of those that are highly active in such areas is slightly lower than that of a frog poster, they tend to get bad ideas and impressions from the community.
The reason you assume they're pandering to pros is because the community loves to parrot the pros and their favorite streamers, because they view these people as knowledgeable and wish to appear as such.

I've seen it especially bad with /hsg/ as well. One day I decided to watch Kripp's shit since everyone always mentions him and nearly every fucking thing he said in his videos were all very popular topics in these threads.

True, the real power of this card comes from it's flexibility to be playable at every point in the game.
Early game you can combo it with some little minion for tempo based single target removal.
Late game you can combo it with Pyromancer for a board wipe

It's a really good card because it can basically be used as both a Vilespine type removal or as a board clear against large boards (which Rogue doesn't even have right now, so this card adds utility to Rogue that they didn't even have before).

This will see competitive play, it has the flexibility to be an easy out to many difficult situations.

first it requires to combo 2 cards

then, shaman is today on an aggro roll, why would they add weapon that deals 1 damage if when they can add a jade claw which can make a golew evolve in something viable

finally, turn 3 in Shaman aggro is WAYYYYY to important for this weapon, it's the moment you start putting drawing totem or murloc totem

I can only see a play after turn 7, maybe in order to finish your opponent while doing something like

After obtaining rank 3 with pint potion priest (Zetalot deck) on week ago in two days and since then struggling to even log in, I understood some things :

- There is way too much RNG ans it kills any sense of merit
- Yogg Saron is STILL capable of turning around a game you've played perfectly well
- Aggro decks are still a thing after 2+ years of HS and it is literaly playing on curve
- Hunter will never be a skillful class
- The next expansion is going to be shit
- Elise cards are the best cards
- The matchmaking system makes no sense, it's literaly rock/paper/scizor in a coinflip.
- The rank 5 to legend is an absolute fun killer and probably the worst matchmaking system I've ever seen in a game so popular.
- List of cards that need a change or Hall of fame : Ice Block, Alex, Brawl, the +1+1 druid buff for 1, Jade idol, Patches, Southsea capitain, Firey war axe, that 5/6 dragon for 5 that discovers itself, frozen nova, Primordial glyph.
- The HS team has no fucking clue on how to balance things.

Literaly EVERYTHING wrong with Hearthstone could be fixed in one fucking week. But no, HS will never change for the better. I'm done with it.
