Looking things over, I could DEFINITELY max ascend Medusa, Sasaki, and Tamamo Cat if I get a few extra chaos claw drops (as in, three). I am just two horseshoes short of max ascending Georgios as well, although I can get him up to Lv.55. It looks like ascending some other characters, such as Cu, will need to wait for another time.

Mostly, though, I'm probably just going to focus on one or two characters and take the rest as they come.

Well he's the Count of Montecristo, THE Avenger, so people find his really cool in general. He is introduced as an antagonist in the KnK event which ties up with London plot and his event the official first "high difficulty challenge event" which has an interesting story. And like I say, you actually get to bond with him while most Servants are like Kiyohime who randomly decide to like you for no fucking reason except because you exist, here's there's a build up as with Mashu and a few others.

He recently got his own cd drama backstory that tells a story about his revenge for Father Faria before going to Paris and his awakening to Monte Cristo mythology powers where he defeats Fate version of Roa and destroys his soul, as the leader of the culprits who imprisoned Faria.

You'll probably need to prioritize Drake or Okita, since they are within a month of one another, and probably avoid burning up all your quartz/tickets to have a reasonable shot at Jeanne Alter. Same thing about Merlin: you might have to just forget Artoria Lancer in order to stock enough for a decent shot at Merlin.

Once you get your highest priority characters, then you'll have a lot more leeway in spending on other characters.
