Clear every single mission for rewards. Find which days have the mats you want and spend apples and quartz to grind them as much as possible. Make sure to get enough medals to buy what you want. Also, keep in mind the last day has the most medal drops, so waiting till the last day to focus on farming gold medals is not a bad idea.

5AP gives bronze, 10AP gives silver, 20/30AP gives gold (30AP giving the most golds).

You need 200 bronze, 100 silver, 700 gold to get all the rare mats out of the shop (the rest is QP, EXP cards, etc).

Each mission gives a guaranteed reward for finishing it the first time, so do ALL missions. After finishing the mission once, the mission will instead have generous drop rates for items (~33% instead of bumfuck nothing).

Basically:

>clean out shop
>spam missions for the appropriate items you want afterwards

I've never found the wiki/Cirno very informative for all that. However, it does seem to increase damage and does increase the NP gain/star gen for Arts and Quick cards. I do wonder if the Quick Effectiveness boosts the amount of NP gain you get from Quick cards as well, and I haven't had a good chance to test that.

It seems to boost the matching NP, but it doesn't boost other cards. (So an ABAE combo would only see Arts Effectiveness apply to the two Arts cards, not the Buster and not the Extra, despite being boosted with the first Arts card.)

The things is that, out of the three team "types", Quick requires the most momentum.

Buster teams just throw a lot of damage around. There isn't much difference between three Buster cards from different characters, and a BABExtra chain from a single character. As such, they don't care too much about focusing on Buster, and can even run stuff like Kaleidoscope for a quick nuke. (Because when you're just concerned about damage, why not throw out a heavy NP to start? It's better than the 10% buff to Buster cards overall.)

Arts teams are much more focused on getting those Arts combos, though. 3x Arts grants 20% NP to everyone involved, which is almost guaranteed to generate more NP for each character than even a single servant pulling off an Extra combo. As such, it is much more important to always get AAA every turn, and that's why you frequently want to see Arts NPs on servants in such a team. Still, if you don't AAA in a particular turn, you just slow down for a single turn. Not disastrous.

Quick teams pretty much rely on getting crit stars. Like the Arts chain, a Quick chain will frequently generate more crit stars than even a single character attacking four times, so it is very necessary to get those QQQ chains. Plus, crits on Quick cards generate more stars than non-crits on Quick cards, so it keeps the momentum flowing. However, if you end up breaking the Quick chain, then things fall apart and you end up with far less stars the next turn, requiring you to basically star over with your momentum. As such, there is a much bigger focus on those Quick buffs because they can pick up the crit star loop. Right now we just have some Verdant Keys and a few skills to buff Quick cards, and so the team isn't likely to see the best potential it has for awhile now.

As for good characters with Atalante: Cu Chulainn, most riders with a Quick NP, and nearly all Assassins.
