understandable, not many people are good at dealing with a hypercarry Tracer, especially if Varian decided to be dumb and go anything other than taunt, and Jaina wasn't saving Blizzard for it.

Save the gems for a hero you actually must get first day, since gem prices are always the same, without first two weeks tax. Or a new skin. Though they aren't actually all available for gems on release like Blizz promised, filthy jews. Only actual new skins and only the primary color or in a bundle. I haven't dropped below 50k in over a year I think. Own all the heroes too. I've been playing since alpha though, without breaks bigger than two weeks during summer trips or something.

It's nice knowing you have enough money for 3-4 heroes at release at any time, even if life happens and you can't play for a month or a few. But then I don't, because I like having that reserve more than actually buying the heroes...

That first video has thrall fighting a forest troll berserker, unarmed. Which is pretty impressive being that forest trolls are fucking twelve feet tall (easily ~50% bigger than an orc) and not lanky like their jungle / sand troll cousins.

Gnome -> Dorf -> human -> High/blood elves -> Night elves -> Orcs -> Jungle trolls -> Pandaren -> Tauren -> Forest trolls -> Ogres.

Orcs on average are about 8 feet tall and around 400-500lbs, Jungle trolls range from about 7-8ft (females) to about 9 and a half feet. Tauren are about 8-9 (females) to about 10-11 (males). Ogres range from about 6-7ft (runty) to about 9 entering adulthood, they never stop growing either and really impressive ones have gotten to about 25ft tall. (Weight is gotten from the WoW movies, other stuffs are a bit harder to source accurately because blizz doesnt like to put numbers out; starcraft 2 in particular had huge issues with its own scale and they had to hire an outside guy to scale everything for them, my own sources come partially from RPG, partially from how they like to depict them in cinematics and a bit of personal bias).

Also, fun fact about how casually monstrously strong the Tauren are: Their 'traditional' weapon is the totem, which based on the taurens own size, probably ends up at about 9 to 10 feet long, and about two and a half feet thick, depending on the wood its made out of, it weighs anywhere from 1600lbs (lighter woods) to about 3000lbs (stuff like oak). Tauren are happy to just casually carry one of these on their back or over their shoulder as they *run* for seven to eight hours and then fight a two hour long battle at the end of it. Some tauren like Cairne carried *two* of these totems, just because.

Tauren are fucking *horrifyingly* strong, and could easily smash every bone in your body, even through armor with one swing of their totem, before considering whatever magic enhancements they've worked on it with runes.

I was genuinely shocked to see Morales is a legendary hero, and that she wasn't one of the base game heroes for how incredibly basic she is, works like every medic in every game which is just putting a heal beam on people and her passive is literally Muradins

Game height has never been accurate. Simply because they cant have races be so wildly different without having to seriously modify architecture. Male taurens used to have a ton of issues getting into a lot of buildings

Learn to stutterstep. Know the max range at which you can attack. Turn on quickcast. Stay behind your tank. Valla is good because she has fantastic sustained AA dmg, but can also burst people down with abilities, waveclear, chase/escape. She also has a lot of talent diversity so recognizing which talents are good in a given situation is also helpful. The key to being decent with her once you have the basics down is just knowing when to go for the kill imo.

desu what worked for me was learning how to play Cassia and Stitches--stutter stepping is so vital to Cassia (moreso than other ranged AA dps heroes because of her trait) and her gimped range means having to be super cautious and only going in with fend to secure a kill + stitches is so reliant on constant repositioning, both to reliably peel/tank/slam and eat skillshots for your allies but also to land useful hooks that pull enemies way out of position while still avoiding minions/summons/etc. Generally speaking, Valla is a relatively forgiving hero wrt range/positioning/easy skillshots by comparison. She's a pretty solid QM pubstomper who can go 14-0 on stupid aggressive squishies of which there is no end to in quickmeme

How do you play properly murky? Most of the split pushers/siegers are fairly straightforward but I don't get what part of murky's kit allows him to be effective. Hammer and Sylv enable objective siegers to be more effective, Naz just zombie walls shit, Xul and Azmo apply massive pressure by throwing more bodies at keeps, Zag does that + empowers shit and long range poke, but murky has...a stupid AoE fish, a melee range AoE and the ability to not give a shit about dying? Is his thing literally just "even if I die I can continue to afk split push"

From what I've seen, Murky's niche is a splitpusher who transitions into a strong teamfighter lategame, and does this pretty naturally unlike other specialists who can end up pigeonholing themselves in talents to be a strict PvEer. Early game you create a ton of space, and late game you're either paired with an abathur hat, went fish tank, or kamikaze in with max slime and your ult. His bribe is also pretty easy to get off, which is strong on certain maps.

Murky is not strong at destroying buildings like Zagara/Azmo but he can soak 2 lanes at once (Pufferfish one, mount and go to the next) and steal enemy's camps with Bribe / Pufferfish level 4 talent very quickly

Murky is a split-pusher like Xul and Nazeebo are split-pushers, mainly that they are great at killing lane minions and letting the minions do all the building damage. Azmo kills buildings directly like Hammer, not via minions/summons.

Basically, yes. You have to put in enough effort to remove him from the lane like you would a normal hero except he comes back in 5 seconds if you don't get the egg sitting by the fort. But at the same time, you removed yourself from the other lanes just to deal with him. He exists to waste your team's time and resources so you either need to make him useless by pushing in all lanes+camps at once all the time and demolishing the 5v4 teamfights, or have somebody on permanent Murky duty to kill him whenever there isn't a teamfight (e.g. Butcher, Nova, Zeratul, Valla, etc.)

And don't underestimate his kit for damage. It's hard getting any of it to hit people but when it does, it destroys them. People, even experienced ones, often think they can tank a Pufferfish (and thus don't mind if they fail to kill it) or that slime doesn't do much damage and always get shocked. This is why he's good at pushing, because he has good damage for lane minions.

If you're last pick and nobody picked tank or support yet, then it's a sure win 100%.

I'd say it's pretty situational.

They're both pretty good depending on the map and teamcomp. The slow on the Murlocs is pretty good and a lot of pubs underestimate it. While getting off infinite march is pretty much almost never happening against a competent team, it's still a great zoning tool. The slapper is great if you just really need to hold somebody down while you have somebody else finish them off.

Tbh at low levels of play she's just a generally solid tank and a safe pick when you aren't sure but need a tank. There are a lot of other tanks that are straight up better in certain areas, or are capable of being huge playmakers, and Jojo's dmg and initiation pre-10 is ass, but her wave clear being so good means she can singlehandedly depush lanes, and rotate/doublesoak while your team of plugs is skirmishing over nothing, which translates to huge xp leads or catching up if behind. You don't even have to duel anyone, you just clear your wave and move on to the next, and there's very little your opponent in lane can do.

Plus being as durable as she is with trait she can facetank a lot of stuff for her team just by being aggressively present and condemn/punishing everything in sight

She's comfy because even in those games where you have to give up on playing the game properly because of how uncoordinated you team is, her playstyle doesn't really change. Obviously you're probably gonna want to take an anub/stitches vs a mage heavy comp, but even then, assuming you don't eat every ability sent your way, Jo does decently because of her trait. She only has a couple of must-have talents, and a couple trap talents, and everything else fairly flexible.

Assassins and Specialists can kill shit, clear waves, push buildings, and farm a ton of exp by playing normally. Supports mostly can't do that (unless they give up healing or something), and Warriors are in the same boat as Supports except they can't even heal teammates for game contribution. They have to get in everyone's faces, peel for everyone, and be there for the team instead of pushing a sidelane while everyone's distracted but if the team representation just isn't there, it's all for naught and they get nothing out of the brawling.

So unless they're a special kind of Warrior who can get shit done (e.g. pic related), I see only doom and gloom on my loot box farming horizon since my OCD will probably mandate I get everyone to 15 now.

I'd also like to stop and point out that while a lot of Warriors have aoe spells, they're pretty bad at wave clear in my opinion compared to most other heroes with real wave clear. People say heroes like ETC, Johanna, Diablo, Dehaka, have "decent" wave clear but I genuinely can't describe it that way. It's "shitty" which is one step above "non-existent" like say, Nova. So heroes like that will probably be on the bottom of my leveling list for a long while.
