Absolutely agree, and he's undoubtedly better than all of them at it, and his mobility effectively making him a pseudo global character only makes him even more powerful (being able to go from beacon to beacon on braxis with just z > d > e on short cooldown basically makes him the best global hands down, and he can pull shit like that on most maps)

But my point was that all of the other heroes you mentioned are more forgiving, and your average potato playing Genji will dive too hard, can't land all three shurikens on the same target, won't be able to secure a reset kill and die after overextending etc. They only really finish kills if they get handed near death enemies on a silver platter. He is problematic, but as people have stated before, having E not go through terrain, having deflect not stop CC, having E not reset, having dodge be block instead, etc are all solutions that tone him down to a reasonable level.

Red team has little to no AOE damage. Poor damage output in general because Tracer needs untouchable to really pack a punch. Terrible CC as well as both Hook and drag is unreliable

Blue team is a bit better but if TLV dosen't do well against Dehaka or Tracer. Zarya lacks a good target to put her shield is and Auriel has to put her faith on Cassia and hope she can get the damage needed. But thanks to red team lack of group damage she shouldn't have any issues keeping her team alive

I've actually seen almost that exact comp played before with a raynor instead of valla, it's a pretty standard 'protect the carry' comp, and Leoric is silly on TotSQ. He's strong vs sonya and okay vs anub (because his AA hits like a train). The slow can help peel greymane/uther away from valla.

So while he's not a main tank, he does still fulfill an excellent 'off-tanking' bruiser role.

Stuns are better than blinds, and anubs 'typical' build can catch multiple at once. On top of that anub has cocoon which can remove one person from a fight for a bit *and* he has his own escapes. Johanna does not.

Overall anub is the much safer pick, Johanna can just get bodyblocked to shit by that comp.

Anub's lower hp makes cursed bullet comparatively less of a threat (yes I know it does the same % of total) because anub's build also typically runs shield on burrowcharge in addition to regular burrow. And fwiw scarabs can help anub push vs forts.

What skillset could Garrosh get that doesn't bite too much off of what Varian already has? I'm assuming that even though he's wielding Gorehowl he will be a tank and not an assassin.

Mortal Strike - pretty much THE hallmark Arms warrior skill. I can see this being his passive (i.e. Garrosh's basic abilities apply Mortal Strike reducing healing by a percentage) or just a basic ability that does a high amount of damage and applies a healing debuff.

Whirlwind - this was one of his big abilities in SoO when he was taken over by the Sha, plus it's yet to be utilized. Sonya gets WW but hers is more of a Diablo Barbarian WW and not a Warcraft Warrior WW.

Execute - another hallmark Arms skill that is yet to be used ingame. In WoW it worked off of rage, makes me wonder if Garrosh won't have a Rage resource instead of mana.

Hamstring - If he's a tank he'll need some form of CC.

Battle Shout/Demoralizing Shout - some possible utility in the form of damage buffs or damage mitigation.

Charge - pretty important for warriors and a signature Hellscream skill because of Hearthstone. Although Varian already has this.

Iron Star - I'm 99% sure this will be one of his ults. Big AoE with lots of displacement.

Sha transformation - Another possible ult, though unsure how they'd implement it as it fundamentally changes his fighting style.

He's a tanky bruiser. His problem is if he misses a drain or doesn't land it before getting burst, he's toast.

I think is many comps he's one of the most underrated bruisers in the game. Entomb + Wraith Walk + Diablo Apocalypse is fucking nuts. If it isn't a teleporting healer, you can just walking in and fucking eat him because Uther's stuns don't even stop drain.

Once you get CDR drain, you just fucking EAT EAT EAT.

You can always be the first to die if someone has to die and keep providing vision AND slows.

It has a self-heal, except it forces you to basically stand still for 3 seconds so if you're low enough to need healing it'll get you killed.
It has damage, but it's extremely easy to avoid everything but the first swing. Plus Blizz hates warriors doing damage so even if someone somehow manages to stand still and get hit by all 3 they'll still come out mostly OK.

today, i spent probably like fucking 6 HOURS playing ranked. and for all my time and effort, i go ZERO progress, im sitting on a fucking demotion game right now.
every game that i carry with good shot calling and carrying, i immediately get a fucking nova shit picking retard in the next game that feeds and never goes to objective for a forced loss.

and after my fucking 7th loss in a row i just couldn't fucking handle this shit anymore.

Okay I get the idea of the strat is to push hard because collecting skulls takes so long, but we opted to go slow on the skulls (the dude who went in came topside regularly to throw down if he saw some fight going on in short reach, which was regular) and surely they MUST have noticed it was not paying off by the second golem. Why the hell did they continue to ignore the objective by the third time?

Actually often enough the group is doing something wrong/slightly not right. You don't win the game by whining and complaining usually, you just try your hardest to make their plan work while slowly steering them to the better plan. Honestly I think manipulating your team is the true key to getting ahead at this game.

I think Butcher is a decent pick against Malthael.

I played a lot of games against Malthael and it feels like making the Malthael get into a branded slap fight with you is a great way to negate his damage and teamfight contribution because he can't ignore you and if you're not alone, it means that he wastes all his DoTs and attention on you and gets blown up by your surrounding teammates anyway.

If Malthael had no regen himself and died just as quickly as most other assassins, Butcher would have no source of regen to tank damage with and basically die soon after, making him not as useful. But when you're wailing on a Malthael who won't die for a few seconds, this makes you just as unkillable while the enemy team dumps their spells on you. Well, maybe not as unkillable early game but lategame, definitely.

What do you guys think? Am I the only one?
