The problem isn't what happened. It happened like it should've.

But it was rushed. Achilles vs Siegfried was a longer and more fair fight that didn't wank BROCHILLES like nothing on Earth in the LN. Same as how Karna's fight with Siegfried was way more one-sided than in the LN.

This entire adaption is just shitting on Sumanai for some reason and I'm just gonna admit it. I honestly am pissed off because my favorite's getting screwed over. Say what you will about fanboying or whatever but when a char you like finally gets a work where they can shine, seeing it rushed so hard to get a shitty little homunculus all the screen time is fucking infuriating.

Nothing. This is when Apoc gets shit. The death of Sumanai leads to the birth of Sieg being incredibly relevant. Now he'll be involved in every conflict, in every moment, he'll be pushed as the guy you should cheer for. All other servant's will lose out on moments so he can have SoL shit. Frankenmoe will die to give him a power up. The black faction will completely break apart.

All that will be left is Jannu and Sieg's relationship and Astolfo as the 'silly' third wheel.
