They're all sorta anachronistic to eachother.

Swads are 14th century, but the rhodoks are easily early renaissance. Sarranids are clearly right at home during the first crusade. especially with the straight swords. vaegirs are comparable to the nords. since they're molded on the Rus.


but really, it doesn't matter all that much. Dispite taking place in the mid 1300s most of the gear found at Visby would have fit in with warriors 200 years previous just fine.


But then again, ya know, this is historical fantasy.

You don't "appropriate" smithing techniques. You'd have to be taught them. Although it's a stretch to say no master Swad weaponsmith never defected to the nords ever, it also takes time for ideas to spread. Especially with how covetous smiths were with their forging secrets back then. The Swads could only have a single master craftsman and a team of apprentices in paraven who makes the real shit for their nobility. the non noble Swadian troops don't actually have all that much better armor when compared to Nord troops. just the brigandines really.

Playing blood and steel and Im fighting 200 sized armies right off the bat. How can I access my inventory for more arrows? They dont leave any weapons on the ground or I would recruit archers to do that for me when they die but fighting that many people as an archer with 75 max sized quiver is too much.

Go to the different non clan town looking things.

You get nanban from the mansion northwest of where the Otomo are. You get Oni if you go all the way north to Hokkaido and you can hire yokai (really just skeletons) if you hit up the island north from edo.

There's a couple temples scattered around that you can hire monks from, too.

The town elder is happy to sell the food at exorbitant rates to the the desperate leader. The town doesn't have the meat he is asking for at the moment, but they do have the pigs for it.

A couple of Rhodok peasants are slaughtering the pigs in the slaughterhouse, and then giving it over to soldiers to put in their caravan. The soldiers have a much easier task, and spend most of the time waiting.

In attempt to relieve the boredom, and inspire nationalistic rivalries, a footman brags to the peasant, "We have slaughterhouses just like this in Swadia. The pig goes in, and the pork goes out. But what you might not know is that we have places where pork goes in and pig comes out."

The peasant responds, "Oh, that is no secret. We Rhodoks all know about your King's mother!"

mayby so, but they hit like a truck and has insane firerate. It's basically the device that sends trucks (which are compressed to size of an arrow) whenever you like (if it's in about 1/2 of the biggest battle map's lenght radius).
I personally balance my manliness with 2h axe which I always carry with me. Works great, I don't even enjoy taking it up the ass

Does anyone else have this problem with gekonew? Where some of the face textures go completely blank when seen outside a certain distance radius. It happens to chinks with facepaint on them and I see it only at the snowy area of japan up north.

Don't own too many fiefs - that gives you tax inefficiency. It's especially retarded to be holding loads of them yourself when a bunch of them are shitty villages or castles that don't make any income. Just have a small set of wealthy towns and leave the rest for vassals.

Don't have too many troops. This really just plays into the first one; don't have 10 castles that make no fucking money and fill them all with large, strong garrisons. That's a great way to go bankrupt. If you just a have a few towns, you can fill them with pretty strong garrisons without it hurting your wallet too much. If it is hurting your wallet, have less elites and more dirt-cheap recruits; the AI will leave your fiefs alone if the garrison has a high enough number of troops, quality doesn't matter much.

Try to have an empty or relatively empty party when the budget time hits. Troops in garrisons cost 50% what troops in your party do and the game doesn't look at how much time has been spent in party or anything, it literally just calculates based on what's in your party in the exact moment the bugdet happens, so if you dump everything in garrison, wait for budget to occur, then fill your party back up and head out, you can have saved hundreds, maybe thousands of denars.

Do the usual shit to make money; grind tourneys and sea raiders, maybe look for the guildmaster quest to make peace between factions. If you're actually strong, you just need to take 2 lords prisoner and you get a 12,000 denar payout. Take the collect taxes quest from kings for an easy few grand and don't pay them back; there's actually no penalty because the quest is marked as complete when you do the collection and there's no time limit to find the quest giver and "accept your reward" (which actually means giving back 80% in this case).
