Holy FUCK how does this game keep getting worse and worse and more homogeneous with every expansion? I used to be able to consistently hit five every month and now I can barely break fifteen with all of these fucking cheese decks. There's no way to win streak anymore, you just fuck each other in the ass hour by hour trading wins until you crawl up to a safe point and can't drop levels. None of this feels even remotely good, no deck tops another- though I mean that in the worst possible way.

The most respectable decks are those that have very little draw or rng dependency.

Most aggro decks have few cards with actual rng. Pirate warrior has none, and token druid only has vicious fledgling. On the other hand, they're extremely heavy on the draw rng, with pirate warrior having a 67% win rate if you have first mate in your opening hand, but a 36% win rate if you have patches. The game is basically decided by what each of you draw rather than what you end up doing.

Slower decks like control paladin and freeze mage care a lot less about what their opening hand looks like, making them a lot more respectable than aggro decks in that regard. However, they tend to also include cards like Stonehill Defender and Glyph that add some rng to the game. There's one slow deck that doesn't run any rng cards, and that is jade druid. However, because of ramp, jade synergy and auctioneer, it ends up being quite draw dependent instead.

Despite all the possible Tirions you can get from Stonehill Defender, I'd put control paladin as the most respectable deck. Least respectable is probably something like aggro murloc paladin, as it combines both draw dependency and rng cards.

This. And netdecking is also the norm in Magic so basically every tryhard Spike comes into their local store and starts shitting on everyone else with their $400 flavor of the month. These people are also usually underemployed, filthy, unpleasant, and spend most of their income on their Magic addiction.

The stats are out, and apparently quest rogue was good for the game. Control decks actually have lower winrates after the nerf. Turns out that balancing based on the feels of shield bearers is pretty stupid. Now we have a less diverse meta with fewer archetypes. Are shield bearers on hsg and Reddit going to admit they made a mistake? Hopefully Blizzard can still reverse this stupid decision.

I played Stealth Burgle Rogue a while ago and had a really fun game against a Priest because of NO WITNESSES. I burgled a bunch of healing and buffs so I kept killing everything he summons from behind the shadows.

Ended up losing because of effectively infinite, not really, SECRET AGENT CUMMING THROUGH.

Its main problem is the same problems that always force rogue into aggro or otk memes.
No good aoe. With stegodon, alex and bluegill; mimic pod and curator is honestly all you need for card draw. Just without a good aoe, any midrange or slow rogue just gets shafted by flood decks. Which is the entire meta right now.
