It really depends how far back you want to go. For a while, the Ottoman dynasty refused to call themselves Turks because they thought that was a peasant identity (so to speak). This was the same case elsewhere; when Romania united, the nobility refused to speak Romanian (they spoke Bulgarian) because they too thought it was a peasant language.

While I'm not sure about england, based on analysis of remains, the folks in turkey are genetically similar to the folks who were living there before the turkic conquests. It's sorta like how the roman province of dacia to this very day calls itself a corrupted form of "roman". That was some work, but it's done. I checked all provinces in the OT, even the ones in the kurdish parts, and made sure all cultures, from assyrians to greeks, armenians, serbs, bulgarians, romanians, bosniaks and croats, have the 4 basic pop types and the 6 pop types in capitals.

Another change is that Iraq will now start as a colony and with no Turkish pops, and Aleppo also lost its turkish pops. This will stop arabs moving in the balkans and is made to reflect that fact that Mamluk Iraq, which was really autonomous, was integrated in 1831. There's not enough time for it to be integrated as a proper state (which happened more or less during the end of the Tanzimat). They still keep their cores in the place, though.

There's quite a few things in the to-do list, but they will go in the next version. I just need to run a final test for this version.

Bohemia is the monarchy name of the Czech Republic. They shouldn't and won't lose cores there.

On the topic of cores, the irredentist Slovenia decision seems to have been removed. In 1848, during the revolutionary period, there was a proposal to unite the regions inhabited by Slovenes. There could be an event similar to the event the Hungarians get about autonomy where one of the options was to add cores on Klagenfurt, Pola and Fiume and I suppose one or two other options that added different levels of mil/con.
I suppose some kind of decision for an independent Slovenia to add cores for at least Klagenfurt (maybe Pola and Fiume, too) would also be in place.

No, I'm saying make a decision to, if you have all of Bohemia, to solely release the non Sudetenland part. To do what you're asking you'd need to free people Bohemia in Bohemia, acquire state sudetes, then puppet Bohemia, costing an extra 17.75 infamy, my question is, why should it cost anything? Releasing all of Bohemia would give you -2 infamy, but I don't want to release all of Bohemia, as I want to keep the German majority part, the Sudetenland.

You don't even need to do anything with cores, but you do need to add a decision to release Bohemia sans Sudetes.

Why not acquire the state from whoever holds it before? Then you can free people it. Or just keep the states and leave them be with whoever owns the rest of Bohemia.
I won't make a decision for that.
If you want the Sudetenland, take it. If you want to free Bohemia and puppet it, do it. I won't make a decision for you to free-them and take a state after you conquered all their states when you can do what you want to do with the current game mechanics.

Currently it's too damn tedious to do what you're asking, why if I hold the entire territory of Bohemia should I not be able to release a Rump Bohemia where I keep the German majority lands? It's not about the damn infamy, it's about the tediousness of having to go through a second war when you already control all the territory in question.

And what do you propose I do if I form Germany as Austria? Release Bohemia, remove them from vassal, remove them from puppet, acquire state, and then puppet them? It's absolute lunacy, just let us create a Czech puppet state without having to essentially game the release vassal/release sphere mechanic or cheatowner.
