All-American. It's the ultimate all-purpose weapon.

The extremaly fast rate of fire together with practically nonexistent spread means insane DPS at practically any range. The high mag capacity and relatively fast reload speed makes sustained DPS compare even better to other weapons.

Single shot damage with Grunt and Match/AP/HP ammo and Better Criticals is still decent enough to snipe most enemies with a single sneak headshot. Even if it's not, the high rate of fire means you can easily get a few more before the enemy starts moving all over the place.

It's also the ultimate git gud weapon- with Fast Shot the rate of fire is 7.2 shots/second and the increase in spread is irrelevant since it has negligible spread to begin with. Most people can't get that many clicks per second comfortably.

Also, 5.56 ammo is really economical if you reload- it shares its primer with 5mm, which is usually found in extremaly large numbers, so you can make a ton of 5.56 out of it. This saved my ass in Honest Hearts and Old World Blues where I couldn't find a lot of 5.56, but even a single random drop of 5mm was enough to last me a long time.

I've beaten New Vegas at least 8 separate times, and have started countless characters that I never finished on top of that. It's my favorite game of all time.

But I can not for the life of me not play this game as some sort of gunslinger cowboy. This is how you use the mod manager. Works the same way for F3 and NV.

You can even mod the game without the manager by simply dragging the mod contents into the Data folder, but then you can't choose the mod order at it can be a pretty big deal. I did that for a long time and don't recommend it, get the Mod Manager.

Does anyone know exactly how to fix the problem with the aiming? What i mean by problem is the following:

In a normal FPS i can just aim at people's head and then shoot them but for some reason i can't explain in NV i have to put the crosshair in front of where an NPC is going to walk towards because i can't precisely aim and follow him with my ironsights/scope, if i try to move to get him in the middle its allways not close enough or i overshoot my target and i have to wait for him to walk in front of my crosshair again

2 is mainly faces, 3 uses assets from fco and changes environments and such, like making some body's look like they're starting to decompose or have been mutilated and such. People don't seem to like it due to stuff he added to the fort from my understanding.

For his 4th one he's using his own assets again so you won't need fco, and is also getting people to revoice characters as well, so you won't be hearing the same voices as much.

I tend to stick with ones that make vanilla or dlc characters into companions, like Joshua, Marcus, Vulpes, one that adds a smaller securitron controlled by house, that you can turn in most house quests as well, except delivering the chip or starting the final battle.
