The meta is changing from burst to USB+skills. Bursts have endurance but that's not needed when you are trying to clear fights in less than 30 seconds. Since Y'shtola's is shit, she has a higher opportunity cost than a healer that brings blink or insta cast or some shit on her usb that helps the other 4 members shit out dps

Hopefully the record missions at least make it over, they only gave 10 5* motes but they were easy as shit missions to do, only need to solo classic dungeons using a specific character. These were

No shit, but I don't really care what shifts are going to be focused on the ultra high-end content next year. For the regular weeklies, it'd be nice to make it even more of a breeze than it already is by boosting a character used very often plus she's grown on me, so I don't mind. I suppose if I really wanted sub-35s for Advent Madness Seph for example, I'd have pulled for TGC OSB or pulled more often for Vaan BSB. Could also prepare for upcoming shit by getting Wol USB or elemental chains during the first super fest.

The only hard bosses are Shinryu and Omega due to dealing damage you pretty much can't mitigate at an alarming rate, and with high numbers each time they do so.
Ribbons basically nosell every other boss in the extra dungeons.

Ever since I came back a few months ago, she's been my top DPS and MVP character almost every time the boss could get hurt by lightning.

Also, Laguna has no LM yet, and I've not a single damned relic for WoL, so it's not like I could've gone for another favorite.

Nothing survives the ST nuke. I just ran the numbers, it's not possible.
11k HP 800 DEF JP Wilhelm only survives it with 54% mitigation. The buff only gives maybe 200 more DEF, so this ain't happening.


This does, however, mean that the King reraise strat is hilariously easy, since you only need to gear him to survive the AoE 180% magical attack.

So a unit with golem will take the hit 70% of the time, WoL can take it 100% of the time.

It's calculated as a magic skill despite working off DEF, so you need M. Dodge to avoid it.

Admittedly, the ones with ultras are very few - Cecil was a 100-gem get (the only relic I have for him), and Selphie/Penelo/Tyro came from lucky draws. I still don't have Tyro's wall, so his LM2 wouldn't really work for only having his USB/BSB. His ultra can be spammed rapidly if the astra effect is needed, thankfully.
There aren't many active options (for burst relics & up) I'd be into currently either, plus I probably wouldn't have the "right" relics for them in the first place (example: Vaan's OSB & SSB1 vs lacking his BSB). It would be months until the legend spheres get released for characters I'd really want to invest in, but I'm definitely holding onto the motes needed in that case. Plus there's shit like actually being interested in the character too, or having a lot of a character's relics. For ones like Celes & Ramza, they're shit out of luck due to unfortunately just being limited to SSB1 right now.
Don't know enough about those Zero-SB battles to say shit about putting an investment towards anymore purely for their moveset and/or the little bonuses they'd get from their spheres

Xon is best for this since his Hide works for a fixed duration, so you don't have to worry as much about timing.

Give Xon #1 Lakshmi with Stona and Dualcast.
Give Xon #2 Rikku's Pouch
Give Setzer the petrify shit.
Have an MP battery on hand, and a damage dealer. Preferably Ashe, but anyone who can switch between healing and dealing damage works.

>3. Lay Low with Xon #1
>4. Attack your own team with Setzer to paralyze them
>5. When Xon #1 returns, dualcast Stona on Ashe and Setzer

Your 400 SPR Lunera heals 80ish MP a turn, for 3 turns. Meanwhile, Zargabaath who is not locked into singing can restore 50% MP for any unit. Which means the units who actually need it (Rikku and your healer) can get topped off while your auto refresh keeps everyone else full in MP. It also full heals the unit. In a worst case scenario he uses that every turn and delivers more mp to 3 than Lunera did to 6.

It's pretty simple. Garland is an evil knight. He kidnaps Sarah and you go beat his ass. As he dies, the four fiends send him 2000 year into the past, where they're originally from. In the past, he then sends them forward in time to a little before the game's start. This loops time because they're only sent to the present because he got sent to the past because the four fiends were in the present.

But Bran does the most important part (heals and MP restore) already and he's a base 4*. A 40% buff is nice but plenty of units can do it.
