Right now at level 30 he can do 16k on neutral class enemies at only NP3 and no interludes(camelot) with just 1 attack buff.

lvl 70 Saber with her upgraded NP, buster buff and 2 attack buffs does about 22-25k.


Seems like with at least 2 grails and CE and fou's to "even up" the stat gap he might seem pretty strong.

No worries. Yes, it's the green daily. It only drops pieces and monuments but on Friday instead of fighting other servants, you fight monsters so they could drop lanterns, secret gems, magic gems etc. They have a very low drop rate, but should make it a priority to farm them on that day because that's the only way to obtain them (for now).
Although Nerofest (an event that will give those materials for free) will probably start after the Gilgamesh promotion ends so if you're not in a hurry to ascend your units, it's more efficient to farm EXP and QP (enter the treasure vault) daily.
