It depends on your goal. If the goal is for the power ups to be strategically important ie Gradius options and shot types, then seperating them is a good idea. If the damage boost is minimal and they're mostly an illusion like in most CAVE games then there's no need to complicate the process. If there's no reason to not pick up a power up in your game, then they're most likely the latter.

Yeah they do. The concept isn't the problem, it's just too long and too slow. The top down levels in Super C are over in no time, I enjoy them a lot. Though to be honest, it doesn't feel like the game was developed with a 1cc in mind. You can even quit into the menu if you die, press continue and it'll just start you off with the score, weapons and lives you had when you went into the stage.

About what I expected. I don't think I'm enough of an expert to give a proper opinion, but I guess I'm not surprised by 6/7/8 being out front, those have always seemed the fan favorites, and 15 being near the end (zun was just being mean with that one). I kinda expected 10 and 11 to be swapped in lists though, 10 more towards the front, 11 in the middle. And yeah, I guess I wouldn't put the series overall that high on totem pole, but I dunno if that's just me being bad or something, for some reason with touhou I have a hard time seeing the bullets and my eyes swim. I think it's the pickups blending into them or the pattern background zun oh so loves in later games.

I also quite like the fightans, except 7.5 which is busted for me, they're not fantastic, but they're very unique, so a nice change of pace from usual fightans. The bunkachou games aren't my thing.

I dunno, I kinda like it so far. Compared to the Ace Attorney series, moving about, investigating, and just the overall pacing of the cases feels better, particularly the investigation portion. However class trials, while more interactive than Ace Attorney trials, are really hit or miss with their mini games. Please stop adding elements to Bullet Time Battles, I already dislike them enough as it is.

And yes, Celeste captivates me with her drills. And eyes. And clothes. If you like drills I might suggest Luna from Mega Man Star Force but everyone shits on that series too

I like a lot of 10's music at least, I just kinda feel like 11 was better as a game. 10 feels sorta like an awkward transition game where ZUN wasn't really sure what to do for new mechanics, so he tried some unusual things for the series like remove grazing and implement one universal bomb type.

I forgot to rank Impossible Spell Card last night but it can go somewhere near the bottom. I didn't like it much.

I kinda hate to say it, because I'll get flak, but I think to a certain extent I'm led by my ears with stgs, if the music isn't enjoyable I usually can't enjoy the stg regardless of quality, and I think I'm a bit more mixed with touhou game music than most fans.

MoF was the first shmup I ever 1cc'd, which means I also had very bad habits. I don't dislike the game, but playing it is still quite tiring for me and that paints my judgement on where it fits in the TOUHOU TIER LIST.

What's the problem with 11? I'll agree that most of the shot types are shit, but the ones that are good are excellent and the stages and bosses are some of my favorites in the series.

I find it's rather difficult because the bullets are raiden style fast, but more chaotic and complex. In Raiden you often can just tap-dodge the patterns, but in Strikers it's more difficult, especially with zako suicide bullets.

I'm wondering if there is any secret to spawn the zako at the times you want, because they seem to appear always randomly to me, at 2 different pacings.

I know someone who was diagnosed with ADHD. He does seem to have problems that impair him in some ways, especially socially.

His mind actually seems to jump around a lot, so when you talk to him it's a bit annoying and tiring. He chimes in on conversations or just approaches others with irrelevant stuff or things that are only relevant to him. He's a bit odd in general, but not terribly so. It just seems he's unaware of how social interaction works. He doesn't seem autistic either though...

Somehow he did get to serve in the military regardless though so it seems to be fine!

You might need a facecam and/or mic to get -big- crowds, but I've found that even just using the chat yourself to interact with viewers can be good enough for a small viewer base.

Another thing seems to be doing it with regularity, or at least predictability. Back in December when I was doing my Mega Man marathon, I started streaming every single day at around the same time every night. During that time, I was able to get 5+ viewers on a consistent basis. However now that the times I can stream are a bit less concrete, I wind up just starting streams whenever I can, and as a result not many people tend to up, and I have maybe two viewers at best over the course of a few hours of streaming.

That's kinda why I'm reluctant to stream practice sessions. Trying actual runs is a bit different because there's always a chance I could break out of reset hell and actually get "the run", but with practicing I feel like I'm kinda just going around in circles and start to doubt the appeal of showing it to others.
