I'm surprised by the encouragement in this thread. Probably more than I've seen on /v/ in the past 3 years... which is maybe more of an indictment of /v/, but still. Thanks.

I guess I could make a short clip from parts here or there, but neither obs or handbrake support webm, so I'd need to first figure out how to do a proper conversion. There's enough going on that getting a clean image probably requires a fair bit of bw/res. Really though, I think it's mostly the typical stuff - not being able to follow the dots well, getting trapped, pattern/formation memorization, background patterns / items blending things together, boss practice, clownpiece in particular... I think the lowest hanging fruit would probably be changing up controls to a dpad instead of analog, not that I'm trying to blame controls, it would only save me, maybe, 20-30 deaths, but it's something.

I dunno why some of you think I'm a troll, some of us just suck, sadly. And, I'm perfectly aware of what 1cc is. I guess I can understand, seeing as posting something so abysmal would be considered strange, but I guess because it's one of the few touhous I can beat, due to pointdevice, that it just ended up that way. I guess I should force myself to beat them in order. I dunno. Maybe I was being dumb and I posted it because there was a hint of accomplishment buried in the morbid shame, or I was so shocked by the death toll, or maybe my brain was just mush at that point. Avoid most solid foods, too; having morsels or grains inside where your tooth used to be will feel worse than screwing up that 1cc attempt.

Jello, Pudding, Smooth soups (tomato,etc), Soft cheeses and smoothies will be your friend. Do NOT spit or suck on a straw or anything like that. It can loosen the clot that is trying to form and you will end up with dry socket which will hurt ridiculously so and is really a thing you will have to just live with until it heals up. It can technically be treated but that would require the dentist apply (and reapplying) an artificial gel clot every single day for weeks on end. Better to just avoid that at all costs.
After the first week the clot should have solidified a bit but I think it takes about 2 weeks before you are out of the dry socket danger zone and can resume somewhat normal eating habbits.

Yeah, more or less. There's some good stuff, some decent stuff, and some stuff that even I won't save.

I at least scour for art of all the Deathsmiles girls, so I guess technically I have a higher chance to be satisfied but also a higher chance to be disappointed. Rosa for example has very little that fits in the "SFW and also drawn half-decently" sweet spot.

Is there any decent shmup for Android?

I tried one and actually enjoyed playing it on a touch screen but it had the regular mobile game issues like time gating and grinding if you don't use IAP.

Options/bits are a nice which can add firepower and make things things a bit more interesting, but I dislike how they clutter up the player sprite/model. They don't fit to every ship.

I'd say definitely Gradius and R-Type, since they add a lot to the gameplay there (force podd is an option too actually).
But danmaku games also use them in an interesting way to add ridiculous firepower and being able to switch between focus and spread shot.
I think there are many games which use them right (Strikers, Garegga too, etc), but to some games they just wouldn't fit I noticed, like Under defeat for example. It just would clutter up the player model.

medalings fun, chaining depends i love guwange which is versatile can be done in a million ways to diff standards kind of chaining but DDP not so much. I actually learnt 4 stages of daioujou chains once and even when i got a run with the chains in it didn't feel rewarding to me at all.

DDP chaining is the cosmic brain of shmups. Only the best of the best can handle it, for everyone else, there are games like Dadregga, Pooshihime and Poohou.

No, that's not what I mean. That's speed-killing, I'd say.
Time-killing, to me, is when you have to kill the enemies at certain moments for maximum points.
In Under Defeat you shoot down the health of a bigger enemy, then wait til small enemies come near it, and then kill them all together with a powerful aoe charge shot.
Similar like in CCWI, except that you have homing lasers there and not aoe explosive shots.
