Lackey is a particularly bad card, as the secrets you tend to play with it (counterspell and mirror entity) are likely to wiff that early on. The card is also completr shit outside of turn one basically. Secret mage can be extremely frustrating to play against, but if the secrets don't get value they're fucked.

I think the biggest problem with secret mage is having to play around every fucking possible secret, and if you don't get it the first time and they play another, you have to go through the motion again. Against freeze mage it's easy cause it's always block and barrier. Make it 5 mana 3/5 and at the end of your turn give adjacent minions +1/+1 if there's one on each side. Start of turn effects are generally garbage, and considering your weenies have to survive the opponents turn, it's unlikely. And if you're ahead enough they do survive, he's representing 8 extra damage for free next turn which is too powerful.

End of turn small buff is plenty good. It'd see play in zoo and stuff like egg druid.

I used "Classic Warlock" the blizzard premade deck and queued into shit, no legendaries, basic cards etc.
