Say I win round 1 on even cards. My monsters opponent has 9 points of carryover, but I have silver spy.

Do I play silver spy and get out of the round, or do I bleed?

It depends on your win condition. If you're running a deck that pulls out one or two big units in round 3, then you should bleed in round 2. If you're running a deck like monster swarm or axemen that requires long rounds to snowball, then you should just instant pass. If the carry over is really fucking you that badly, you can always tech against it with mardroeme, scorch, etc.

There are a lot of ways to interact with other people board. There are key cards that can be used. You can go full combo or controlish. Factions can be used for both though NR can be used more for combo and ST for control.

Most people like combo decks and usually tryhards are the ones that play control, which is why the ladder is usually heavy control based in with their combos being snoball cards or harder to control. This is why ST control is back now and also why it is going to go up in the cancer perception.

I'm playing reveal at 3600 now. I wanna get to 3.7k for that shiny border.

I think the best way it give and extra mulligan to the one going first but that on itself doesn't solve the issue. Maybe the one going first gets and extra card and the same goes for people going first on round 3. Though that would break the balance in favor of the one going first on round 1.

The short stories build Geralt up as a stoic he-man who's basically invincible. The saga then subverts this by slowly demonstrating how flawed Geralt is as a person. Eventually he comes to terms with this and changes significantly. This is his arc.

I used to think Ermion was busted as fuck until I started playing him.

It seems like the only cards that you really want to discard are Raiders - and you only have 3 of those, and 7 discard activations between Ermion, Udalryk, Bran, Svanrige.

If you get perfect draws you can use 4 of those discards on ciri dash, but that's a pipe dream.

Is this why people run Queensguards on top of raiders?

Also, doesn't Udalryk kinda force you to run Sigrdrifa just to res something very important he might force you to discard?

before the hotfix leo was critical for reveal because you could reveal a spotter and BTFO a high power unit

now leo only attacks for the base strength of the units you reveal, so lets say you reveal a NG knight (10 str) you get 6 points from leo and hit for another 10 = 16 total value

now if you play stfefan you get 10 point from him, and the next card you'll draw will be whatever card you want to draw from you entire deck, that's much much better. you can combine him with vilgefortz or with revealing DFS for maximum effect

he's fucking great. and he doesn't reveal your own cards to the enemy so that's an extra bonus

I didn't really like Letho at all.

Seems like a semi-deadcard in a lot of match ups. He can protect your spotters at worst which isn't bad in itself but he doesn't have the same impact another gold could have.

I'm not running into too many Dwarfs or QG at 3600. And even when I do I'm not so troubled by them.

I'm at 60% win rate vs ST and pretty much 100% against SK which I rarely see.

It's monsters who I have a sub fiddy percent win rate against and they are the most common cancerous shit I find.

As for the mulligan bug, sometimes I get fucked by it. Other times I use it to put vanguards or trappers on top of my deck. I have to make sure I save an officer for saskia in case the mulligan bug fucks me. There are also situations where I choose not to mulligan away because I could get fucked.

Had a game vs Kambi deck today as a reveal NG. First turn I instantly revealed Kambi and Hjalmar. I only used 2 of my reveals on his hand too. I almost choked laughing. Barely won in the last round too. He burned my whole board with kambi but her token was stronger than what he was left with in his hand. Reveal is pretty fun even though it's so easily countered.

Got from 2800 to 3700 in just a few hours with this deck. It's amazingly fun to play actually. The best thing is that you don't really give a fuck about winning r1 (except against dorfs, obviously), while most of your opponents appear to think you do. I've seen a lot of people going -2 or even -3 just to get raped by fog + triss or yen in r3.

Anyway, glad I got to 18 right before going on vacation, see you in three weeks /gwt/ !

The best thing you can do is ending the round before the third one is played, so the opponent is basically stuck with a shitty 5 str bronze in his deck, that does absolutely nothing.

Alzuring the first one still makes the other two passable if they draw into one of them.
