Use all the booster items before you finish the chapter against a General boss. Chapter 10 or 11 I think.

After that, you lose everything and when you re-recruit everyone you get pre-set inventories, so you'd lose the items. Conversely, use Lyn's Prf as much as you like, because it'll reappear magically.

Gronnowl is only good if you have Spur Atk, since its mt is really low

I don't know your unit's IVs but I would use Nino+Ephraim to buff her and kill the green and blue mage in the first turn, I would bring either Reinhardt or Linde to tank Celica and Kill her and alm, making ephraim tank the lance user, finally bring any red to kill the green pegasus.

I did it with TA, Gronnblade (3 star version), Cecilia with Quick Riposte and quickened pulse Draconic Aura, Hone cavalry

Blarblade (3 star version), Death blow, sworbreaker 1 Ursula, fortify cavalry

It's fun and effective too though, at least based on personal experience. She's my go-to red mage for basically anything and she cleans up plenty. She MVPs arena often, for Alm and Celica Infernal she one-shotted green mage, one rounded Celica with R Tomebreaker, and one-shotted Alm with special help while he's on a defense tile. She definitely takes a steep starting fee (but really Blade+ is the key part, you can scoot by with +3 ATK since it lets her counter harder during AI phase), unlike the other red mages who are already well-kitted straight out the box, but she doesn't disappoint.

And yes, you can. I only started running a Renais twin myself once I began bouncing between t19 and t20, it's also to make up dropping the dancer. She'll still do fine in places like Arena, but may need breaker skills to overcome bloated stats from TT/Infernal/SA/CC/etc. Two Hone/Fortify runners ought to be more than enough, will still let you oneshot through Thotjas, Ikes, Ryomas and etc without needing swordbreaker. You should also be able to one-shot through LnD Celicas, maybe even those with Distant Def (mine can with +9 from Renais twin, DB3, and +2 ATK from Sacred Seal/merging. Not sure of the exact math, but Lilina overkilled by 4dmg the last time I came across a Distant Def Celica in Arena)

Also if you run a strong green too, Flier Emblem automatically becomes the easiest match-up. Lilina destroys Spring Camilla (and naturally one-shots Minerva and Cherche, Fury Julia is the only green that can survive her - granted I've never seen Fae in arena), the core to most flier teams, and yours should even be able to tank a fully buffed Blade+ before counter killing in turn. She can tank some magic despite being very much of a player phase unit, and you can catch a lot of people off-guard with her on defense. Not everyone knows just how hard she can hit, so she probably one-shots through some stuff people thought they could tank.
