To keep conversation alive:
I'm planning on colouring a collection of drawn flankers in various schemes from the games.
This is my entire reference folder. Some paint schemes overlap in curious ways.
The "Su-35" in AC2, AC4 and AC5 are Su-27M, not actual Su-35, visually identical to Su-33 omitting the wing folding mechanisms.
What are some "must have" paint schemes for Su-27, Su-33, Su-35 and Su-37?

Funnliy enough the Flanker with canards in Air Combat is called the Su-27, I suppose the Su-35 designation hadn't been thought up yet.

For Su-27, I think the Yuke paint scheme from 5 is bes.
For the Su-33 I'd suggest Strigon, and, of course, for Su-37 Yellow is a must-have.

Seeing as how the Su-35S didn't appear until AH, it hasn't really been in any really iconic squadrons, and I can't really think of a good livery for it.

It's likely a Su-27M, a prototype Su-35/37. The actual Su-35 don't have canards though, but before AC0 the designation was used for the Su-27M.

>gushing over flankers
I'd love to understand Flankers better, but specs are little more than numbers on paper to me, they don't feel tangible... A shame, really.
>>
>>182285453
Yeah, that is a shame, but you'll always be able to appreciate the superior aesthetics, and that's priceless.

As for liveries, now that I think about it, I always liked the livery on the Su-27PD, that'd be a good one to put on there.

For some reason I love flashy test liveries but most Flanker prototype liveries aren't, with the exception of the PD. It's weird, really.
I believe this livery from AC2, enemy exclusive, is a Su-27PD one, but I never got a good enought view to see if the underbelly is red.

Why would a full midnight blue paintjob be Cipher related? It reminded me of Navy all-blue paintjobs, tbqh so maybe I'm just blinded by that.
>>
>>182286343
Although I rather like the subdued nature of most the the various Flankers' livery, I'm the same as you, I love good flashy liveries, which is why a Flanker decked out in Phoenix livery REALLY activates my almonds.

There was another Flanker testbed meant to break altitude records, known as the P-42, or T-10-5. It was stripped of all weapons and radar equipment to lighten it, and as such has a very barebones look to it. I think a NASA livery would fit perfectly.

The ACTIVE does have thrust vectoring IIRC, but it is single seat and thus SUPERIOR!

That's a good question.

In the US there is a single F-4 under civilian ownership in Texas. The USAF has between 0 and 8 F-4s remaining in its inventory, despite them having been officially retired. These will mostly likely be scrapped, lent out to museums, or used for heritage flights if they haven't been scrapped already.

Iran 'operates' about 60 F-4s, but if the Toms are anything to go by only about half of those are flightworthy due to lack of parts.

Japan has about three squadrons of F-4s, ~70 aircraft total.
Turkey has about 50 F-4s.
South Korea has 70 F-4s.

Greece has maybe 1 or 2 squadrons of F-4s remaining, maybe 30-40 aircraft. Just recently they stood down a recce squadron but the ground attack ones may still be in service.

If they could, then they wouldn't be not-carriers now would they?

The japanese DDH aren't long enough for the F-2 to take off/land on. Hell, their decks aren't even heat treated to withstand the thrust from the F-35's VTOL. They're purely helicopter carriers, or guided missile destroyers with a really big helicopter deck.

Wikipedia doesn't mention anything about carriers on the F-2 page.

P-1112_Aigaion.jpg
577KB, 1280x720px
Did we ever endeavor to spec up the Aigaion?
I was wondering if anyone determined it's dimensions, it's mass, the amount of thrust the engines would theorically need, the size of it's fighter contingent.
No need to actually contrive a way to make it "practical", just what we can estimate.
>>
>>182335570
I would not want to be the guy in charge of coordinating all those tankers at once.
>>
>>182335660
considering a large whale is probably smaller than its fuel tank, it's likely theres a dozen or so more tankers waiting to further fill it up
imagine how long that shit will take to organize and coordinate
>>
>>182335570
>>182336082
oh yeah, forgot to add that there was some some specs for the Aigaion on the official AC6 website
Beam: 963.77m
Length: 433.3m
Height: 102.39m
>>
>>182335102
Now do the other games. Don't though, you'll run out of ammo every mission
>>
>>182336082
I wouldn't be much more complicated than the Falkland bombing's refuelling plan.

>>182336284
Now we need to calculate volume and get an estimate of it's density to calculate the mass.
Afterwards we need to get a ballpark value for the thrust-to-mass ratio of large aircraft, estimate the maximum load weight (airframe, fuel, max weight of a full aircraft compliment, transport helicopters, crew, misc cargo) and the thrust we need, divide that by the amount of engines (24) and we got some neat specs.

>>182336771
if anyones actually got the game like val then im sure they could calculate its speed
after that we can figure out how much a KC-10 Extender holds to refuel other craft which would give us info on how much its take hold as it would just be that times 6
>>
>>182337249
I in fact went to play the mission after I posted the refuelling plan for the Vulcan.
How would one go about calculating the speed? I remember matching speed with the Gleipnir to abuse FAEB, but getting to the Aigaion in an A-10 is painful. And I don't know which aircraft would be able to slow down enough and stay stable at those speeds.
>>
>>182337580
I have never played 6, but if there's a Terminator that'd work. Those tend to not stall out very quickly.
>>
>>182337580

>>182337650
>>182337774
I'll try the Su-33 then, the only Flanker in the game. Also my planefu (actually all Flankers, can't pick a favourite).
At any rate, the KC-10 has a fuel capacity of 356,000 lb (161 480 kg), so we can estimate upwards of 2,136,000 lb (968 880 kb) of fuel.
Around what point do aircraft get their refueling? When they have only a fifth of their max fuel remaining? That would be important, as the capacity would become 2,563,200 lb (1 162 656 kg).
>>
>>182337971
i meant as in how much fuel do they hold thats used in refueling, not the actual KC-10's tank itself unless its a shared tank

Alright I'm confused now. Does the SU-35 have canards or not? On google images it shows both with and without canards.
>>
>>182346074
Th version with canards is the Su-35s prototype, the Su-27M. The version that entered production has no canards, and is the Su-35S. That's the one from AH onwards.

The canards were eliminated because the introduction of TVC made them redundant.
>>

The versions with canards are the prototypes (depicted in AC2, AC4 and AC5 under the designation Su-35) and the Su-37, which is a technology demonstrator for the Su-35S, which doesn't have canards either.

Number of seats?
>Single Seater: Canards?
->Yes: Angle of the upper edge of the vertical fins?
-->Slanted: Wing hinges and/or landing hook?
--->Yes: Su-33
--->No: Su-27M
-->Straight: Su-37

-->Normal: Su-27KUB (Alt: Yes)
->Standard: Trainer? (Training hood mount in canopy)
-->Yes: Su-27UB
-->No: Canards?
--->Yes: Su-30MKI
--->No: Angle of upper V-Stabilizer edge?

For comparison's sake, the Eagle's is much shorter:

Number of seats?
>Single seater: Conformal fuel tanks?
->Yes: F-15C
->No: Symmetrical V-stabilizer antenas?
-->Yes: F-15A/C
-->No: F-15J
>Two seater: Conformal fuel tanks?
->Yes: F-15E
->No: Symmetrical V-stabilizer antenas?
-->Yes: F-15B/D
-->No: F-15DJ

As with the previous chart, any variants not listed are avionics variations of one of the listed models.
As far as I can tell, CFT weren't fitted on F-15A or trainers (B, D and DJ) except during testing, where they were fitted on an F-15B.
>>
>>182348709
Fuck, I messed up. Assymetrical antenas are exclusive to american models. Export variants of both the F-15A/C and F-15E have symmetrical ones.
I just noticed the difference in the japanese models and misremembered it while looking at export F-15Es. My bad.

Try doing one for the F-16 or F-4. Those two have enough variants to put the flanker to shame.
>>

Note that I only listed visually differentiable variants and skipped quite a few prototypes. I didn't count paper-only models either.
From memory I'd say there aren't that many visually distinct variants for the F-16, but I'll look into that too.
For the F-4 Thunderceptor is your go-to ressource.

>>182354997
No thanks, there's a shitton of F-4 variants and a lot of them are distinguished externally by fiddly shit like antennae or the number of bolts on the landing gear wheel.

I think we can reasonably group them with the variants that are identical outside of said fiddly shit, even if it's a simplification.
Overall, panelling, number of bolts and wheel cover shape (the main difference between F-15A and F-15C) aren't differences I take into account. I also ommit antenas unless they're noticeble like those on the export F-15 models.

Amongst /m/ related (the actual definition of that) settings, I like Ace Combat the most. Followed by, in no particular order, Universal Century, After War (my favourite Gundam series, tbqh), Macross, Muv-Luv, Patlabor, Full Metal Panic, Seikai (Crest of the Stars, an awesome space opera) and Front Mission.
I really like Armored Core as a game, but the setting is really poor. I liked the third and fourth gens the most setting-wise, but there isn't much about it.
There's a lot of other series I love, but their setting isn't as developped as I'd like such as Nadesico, Outlaw Star

>>182383398
Char was a man with ambitions beyond obeying his superiors or being the best pilot he could be.

>>182383687
Pixy? A Char?
He could be compared to Master Asia in the "More experienced ally switches side to pursue an utopia by forceful means", but other than Char's change from "good guy" during his AEUG days to "must drop Axis on Earth because earthnoid souls are chained by gravity", I don't see a similitude.
>>
>>182383687
Not really. I suppose AWWNB could be compared with Neo Zeon, in that they were both willing to use rediculously violent measures to force the world to change, but I think the similarities end there. A big part of Char's character is that for most of his life, he's driven by revenge and as such, is willing to resort to highly violent and immoral actions to see to that revenge. As cool as Char was, even I'll admit that on countless occasions, he could be a vindictive, manipulative bastard, lying and sabotaging i.e. Garma if it meant meeting his goals. Now, that isn't to say he's all bad, in Zeta he's pretty amiable. Basically if your views align with Char's, you're fine. I believe Pixy wasn't as violent as Char, Yes, i know he wanted to nuke the entire planet and he truly seemed to harbor no ill will toward Cipher, even though they fought.
>>
>>182384303
>>182384356
i heard the similarities were more based on him being a blonde haired, blue eyed ace with a red styled vehicle that holds a reputation prior to the main protagonist getting one but is a close ally before defecting and attempting to perform total destruction of the world
>>
>>182384356
When Pixy tells Cipher they're two sides of the same coin, it reveals he's basically set everything up to a coin toss; the winner being the side of the coin that lands facing up.

My point being that the possibility that Cipher could win was part of his plan; a possibility that would show that maybe his way wasn't the best after all. That's why when we meet him on the ground he's reconsidering everything, starting over from scratch.

I always found that an interesting insight.

Pixy could of easily just turned around and continued the cat and mouse after activating his ECM which would completely ruin the players chance of stopping V2 but actually let Cipher be able to attack his weak point
He also mentions several times in somewhat taunting fashion for Cipher to shoot him down, with one that stands out to me being "It's the only way, you gotta fight for what you believe in." or something along those lines, which speaks to me that Pixy wanted to be proven wrong and taken down by Cipher
just some rambles and ideas, but speak of it as you wil

Mednafen is good, but can't say how it compares to Xebra as I never used that one.
It requires a bit of handling to set up the controls, but apart from that it worked perfectly for me.
As long as you don't have problems with Xebra there shouldn't be any reason to switch emulator, if not for the libretro core of Mednafen that supports better renderers or something like that iirc.

ive only got two gripes with Xebra, one is that theres no way to get a DirectX plugin for it as ive been wanting to stream AC2 and AC3 for a while and OBS needs it as a backend, but i think thats a problem with PSX emulators across the board as it wasnt designed to be able to use DirectX
my other is that trying to sort the controls out was horrific if it werent for getting a layout to set them and to this day ive never been able to get the sticks to work

Mednafen is the single best and most accurate PS1 emulator; it literally beats all the Sony-made ones too, it's that good. Runs everything like a dream.
If you need a GUI, use Retroarch, that's how I use it too. I don't think you even have to configure anything, aside from the controller anyway. Just download the Beetle-PSX core in Retroarch, drag the game into the window or use the load image function and you're good to go.

One thing to note though is that games need to be in .bin/.cue format or .img.ccd/.sub format. Ideally, imo, it would be the latter, as literally all information from the CD is present in that form.
That's the one part where it can become a bit of a headache depending on how your image was made. I've had cases where I had to make a .cue file (just a renamed .txt file) for a game because it didn't come with one. It's a bit annoying but I'll gladly deal with it because the emulation is great!

Xebra is the most comparable PS1 emulator that I know of, but it is pretty shit even compared to the plugin-based ones like PCSX and ePSXe, let alone the actually good plugin-based ones like PCSX-R.
Xebra never felt to me like it was made to actually play and enjoy videogames, but rather to be a proof-of-concept maybe or a tool for testing purposes and for devs or perhaps even just for the author really. No doubt it performs rather well, but its a nightmare to use and very limited as far as input methods, graphics / audio options go, etc. Thankfully Beetle-PSX makes it obsolete!

It is pretty new, but it's been around for 5 years apparently. I started using it a year ago, and it's great.

Retroarch is just a frontend for the libretro emulator cores, it's not an emulator itself. Retroarch just handles the interaction between the libretro cores and DirectX and audio drivers and such and also acts as a GUI.

Of course, emulators like mednafen that don't have a GUI on their own benefit the most from it, but there are cores for other emulators that would already have a GUI as well. So technically it could perhaps serve as an all-in-one solution, but the libretro emulator cores aren't usually the newest versions of their respective emulator, so that's a very slight drawback.

I only use Retroarch and mednafen for PS1 games, but Sega Saturn and PC Engine emulation is exceptional as well, apparently, for those that are interested.
Also, mednafen PSX = Beetle PSX, the latter is just the name for the libretro port, as I just found out.

Ah, the TSF (Muv Luv) interpretation of the F-4.
Sorry, it happens to be a solid but largely unrelated to the actual fighter, design.
It's a good generic mech design, but not a good mech version of a fighter, imho.

Thanks, I'm interested in Saturn games as well, I hope whatever core Retroarch is using allow higher resolutions than SSF

It's pretty hard to translate fighter jets to a mecha design witout going full Macross desu
>>
>>182391859
Some other ML designs pull it off much better than the F-4. I like the F-15, F-16, MiG-27 and YF-23 designs a lot, as they manage to reflect the aircraft in their design quite well.
>>
>>182389746
Oh yeah, apart from the desire to play games without graphical issues and in their most accurate form possible, persistent audio issues and stuttering made me stop using PCSX-R. With these plugin-based emulators it feels like everything's hanging on by a thread. The plugins are ancient and awful and barely work and every time you'd want to play a new game you'd have to hope it doesn't look fucked up with your config that worked with another game.

Fuck upscaling and texture filtering and all that stupid shit, I want the game to work properly and look as it should.

For me, Xebra is just too obtuse. It's just impossible to understand what's really going on, from having to rename your bios to something odd, to memory cards being files called "B1" and that sort of thing. It works, sure, but it doesn't feel like I have control over any part of it, as none of its documented. At least not in English; there is an in-depth Japanese documentation though by the person that made it and it goes very deep into the technicalities of everything, as far as I can tell anyway. That plus the huge number of incredibly technical options makes me think it's just not meant for non-dev users.
>>
>>182392476
for me i really dont mind it all, its built-in BIOS covers all the files i have and i dont care enough about the PS1 games to wanna tamper with the save files so having so many options but little control is nice as anything that does break is reverse-able with a few setting changed back
plus its fun to play with the options and see what it spits out in response
>>
>>182363559
That Other country those guys are pretty strong.
>>
>>182392812
Well if it works for you, that's good! I used it very rarely 5 years ago if I just wanted to play a bit of Tekken or something, but for games with any sort of longevity I want to use an emulator I can work with and understand.

I think you're using Arbex then? That's the one with the emulated BIOS, I think. It's cool that it works, wish other PS1 emulators could do it, although of course it's uncertain how many games actually work with Arbex.
>>
>>182393573
naw, its Xebra, it has a built-in BIOS too which works perfectly

Once upon a time I was able to cite MS designations off the top of my head. Now it's just an RX-78-G Ground Gundam and an MS-06 Zaku II.
I'm sure I'm wrong with the Gundam designation, but the Zaku should be a J model (Ground Type). It lacks details from the version of the 08th MS Team, so I don't think it's that model. It might be the basic J model.
But now I can tell planefus apart and give their models off the top of my head, so I guess that's a fair trade.
>>
>>182434727
It bugged me, so I ended up checking. It's a RX-79[G] ground type Gundam and an MS-06J ground type Zaku II. The model in 08thMS is the MS-06JC but it's not the one in the picture.

It's somewhat interesting. You have older, secular muslim immigrants from the 50's-70's fighting against the influence of the more numerous "traditional" muslim immigrants of the current day. Government's been treating them as one collective body since forever, which obviously bites them in the ass. I don't keep my ear to the ground on that stuff, but I can't see even the current clowns in parliament changing the way Canadian Law deals with religious disputes (which is to say, muslims are on the same level as jews, christians, or any other religious group). Too much of a hot button topic, and Trudeau's bunch doesn't want to lose even more of their approval rates.

That said, their desire to cling to approval will continue to have a large effect on the canadian military. Lot of dumb statements being made, and the few people I know in the air force are pulling their hair out trying to deal with it.

Well, it's fine if all religion all treated as equal if it comes to a point where non-moslems criticizing moslems about their beliefs should be punished by law, then moslems criticizing non-moslems about their beliefs should be punished by law as well.

>lmao let's just buy hornets
>buying hornets instead of lightning
>people starts criticizing this decision
I don't get it. What's wrong with Canadian goverment's decision to buy Super Hornets instead of Lightnings? Do Super Hornets have more number of terrible flaws than Lightnings that might cause more trouble with their operational capability?

The aesthetics weren't really what I was talking about. Even if some stuff is a far stretch even by AC standards, like the underground city.

>Peoples thought 2030 will look like that.
Not that that is really an argument for or against it either, because I was talking about it being a really quick shift in-universe.

My gripes remain megacorps and some of the other cyberpunk tropes. Just not something I see happening. But we'll see what they do with AC7, if it even gets addressed in that.
Personally I could still see 3 just being a simulation by Simon, where he exagerated or straight up made up the different sides for the fictional conflict to distance it from real life. Just like how AC is playing in a made up world.

it's not an instead thing, which is where the criticism is coming from.

The eighteen hornets were intended as a stopgap so they could stall the procurement of a replacement fleet a further five to ten years. But then the whole Bombardier/Boeing thing blew up in their faces and it all ground to a halt (again).

3 is a simulation, based on the time he was living in. So from that, all we know of the period is that the Corporate Era is indeed a thing. Whether competition escalates into open war depends entirely on the politics of the era.

Though from what I can recall, the conflict in 3 came about as a result of border incursions and disputes. UPEO may very well be the successor to the International Union/International Union Peacekeeping Force present in 7.

Chances are more likely though that with the events of 7, the timeline will branch away from those of 3 into its own thing, given the focus on drones. That or it'll segue into the story for the Ace Combat 3 import, with the Corporate Era intact but with the conflict concentrated around man vs machine, with Ouroboros being run by AIs instead of people looking to become one with the Internet
>>
>>182451507

I still don't get why people dislike the cyberpunk corporate dystopia schtick. It's meant as an allegory for current issues, not as an actual projection of the future.

>>
>>182452082
It is played out. There's so much cool shit real life companies could do instead of desperately trying to be the generic evil corporations in tired cyberpunk fiction.
>>
>>182452408
Companies literally exist to chase profits. Because CEOs have a legal fiduciary responsibility to maximize shareholder profits, they are basically forced to maximize short term gains and ignore the future.
>>
>>182451896
>>182452408
From what we see, Ace Combat's Corporate Era is hardly a dystopia. If anything it's a general improvement over the state of the world just prior. The corporations weren't doing anything inherently evil, iirc. They'd become so huge that they may as well have become countries themselves, and as such needed to take measures to protect their assets and interests from encroachment by rival parties.

Ah, the corporate war of the 70s. An ill-remembered conflict.

>>
>>182456032
Citra is being updated at a frightening pace. I'm too frightened to tamper with my (Old) 3DS, but even if the emulation was 3DS-tier, we would get slowdowns in missions such as Groupies, Midnight Assassin and some others where the terrain just slows shit down.
Before long we will be able to play at higher resolutions on 60 fps, though. If your computer is good enough.

And speaking of ACAHL, I've gotten to the point where all remaining aircraft cost 100000+. Should I save up for the FLAKEN and it's TLS and get the few S ranks I didn't manage yet or should I buy cheap ones first an save money while I grind their kill rate?
Anyone knows how to get cockpits 11 and 12? The only thing I haven't finished doing yet is playing all missions in story mode on Ace (free mission doesn't count), get all S-ranks (damned impossible without absolute-end-game tier fighters) and do all missions in story mode with Slash.

wouldnt be surprised, its the same guy that wrote AC5 (i think) so a story regarding rebelling against their commanders or similar would be fitting for him
i expect that unlike AC5 with its entirely altruistic rebellion though, it'll be a little more gritty, being an organization filled with disillusioned soldiers that hate their own countrymen for their actions that simply banded together in their hatred of the war and all that its caused, hoping to end it so they can deal with their commanders internally either through vetoing them or causing a civil war to kill them off

Eventually someone complained to Hitler and they stopped the project. The closest the Luftwaffe got to kamikaze stuff was their Rammjäger corps that was meant to ram bombers with old 109s to buy time for the new stuff to be made.

The pilots weren't meant to die but IIRC they had to sign a paper that confirmed that they were aware that it was effectively a suicide mission. Pretty sure only one or two actually managed to ram and down bombers though, so really that was a complete failure.
>>
>>182490214

Fapfic anon here, story detail spoilers.

Originally I planned to have Nagase's aircraft only lightly damaged by the missile,
and then have her voluntarily bail out in order to provoke a rescue response from Blaze.
The rest of the story would be a juxtaposition between Yandase's expectant white knight fantasies and her going full predator on the Yuktobanian infantry in the area.

Is the diamond shape of most modern aircraft wings stealthier or is it just a "follow the leader" of the F-22?
>>
>>182537432
It's an optimal shape. Instead of spending time and money on doing research and development for different shapes they just go safe with that one

its follow the leader as the F-22 has one of the most advanced designs atm and those that cant buy it try to replicate it
most of these designs arent bad at all either, its nice how theyve managed to replicate it but still give some individuality to the plane

I LOVE the F-22's design! The diamond shape is so pleasing to the eye! It's also so beautifully flat I just want to run my hands all over its wings!

The T-50 is fantastic too and just as cool and beautiful!
The other ones' wings just don't do it for me, although the ATD-X is quite nice as well! But you can't beat those F-22 (and T-50) wings and horizontal stabilisers!

More than the wings and such though, I think the general shape of the cockpit and air intakes gets copied the most.

It was a non-formal designation, much like the Su-32/34 being called the "Strike Flanker".
In AC3, the COFFIN-equiped Su-37 is called the Super Flanker.

>>182541635
Flankers for life.
>>
>>182541757
Since we're talking non-formal designations, if you ever hear of the 'Su-35BM'. that's what that is.
>>
>>182541563
I want NATO to hurry up and give the T-50 a code name, it's not like they have anything better to do.
>>
>>182541884
Saying "Unofficial NATO Codename" doesn't roll very well off the tongue.
>Su-35BM
It wasn't an official one? Was that an unofficial one for the Su-37 or another tech demonstrator?
>>
>>182541964
If they call it 'Flapjack' I'm going to be super pissed.

>>182541993
Nope, it was a designation that was incorrectly used to refer to the Su-35S.
>>
>>182541964
flapjack
pancake
roadkill
etc
>>
>>182542041
The mig-35's callsign is flapjack rofl
>>
>>182542041
>Flapjack
Why would they use that? Flanker-like aircraft have been given rugby-themed Codenames.
If they call it Flatnker I'll be pissed.

>>182542059
Has to start with F.
>>
What do you hope will be the callsign for the pak-fa? Or what would you name it if you could?
>>
>>182542136
Because 'muh flat' is the only argument people seem to have against it.

For real though, what would be some good 'F' codenames be?

Firefox. It has to happen sometime sooner or later.

>>
>>182542497
I was under the impression they were the same sport. I'm not an /sp/ person, though.
>>182542609
>tfw the AC8 signature plane is the T-50
>>
>>182542647

>cover plane
Take my money
>>
>>182542609
How about Fetish or Fart?
>>
>>182542609
I doubt it'll be that cool, with other planes having names like Fishbed and Fagot. Foxbat and Foxhound are cool as shit though. Fulcrum and Flogger are meh.

>>182542634
I'm generally aware of how it's played, but what I don't know much about the rules and specifics about it.

>>182542647
American football comes from Rugby, but they're two different sports.
Rugby tends to rely on raw strength and endurance, where as American football usually has more of an emphasis on speed and technique.

Fun fact: a player from the New England Patriots, an American football team, competed on the US's Olympic Rugby team.
