You're definitely right that amulets cannot exist in a control meta because of Bahamut. It doesn't matter anyway since Elana autoloses to Dshift in a slow meta.

Amulets in general are garbage in this game. If anything, they need more support to prevent them from being easily destroyed. There needs to be some followers that have a fanfare that protect amulets from destruction.

Amulets shouldn't be resilient, the presence of destruction like Bahamut SHOULD be what keeps them in check.

The problem with amulets is that right now, most of them aren't impactful enough to take even if you could consistently get them, and that you can't consistently get them. A good environment would be one where amulets are good but anti-amulet tech is also good, to encourage the widest variety of cards used.

The fact they count as followers really pisses me off. I'd be okay with them if they were exactly as now, but didn't take board space. Almost every other card game either doesn't have a board limit, or has stuff like amulets be a persistent buff that doesn't take up space. If buff amulets didn't push followers off board, they'd have a lot more utility.
