Reminder not to make the same mistake as on elysium when it comes to picking your faction.

All the good players are going alliance this time around as well, if you want to be in the pvp premades and actually have pve guilds that clear content you should go alliance.

Alliance has the best towns and the cutest girls, horde are just dirty niggers with indistinguishable sheboons they call "females".

Do not fall for the belf meme neither, racials don't mean shit : if you want proof take a good look at what horde is on elysium. By all accounts they should be dominating absolutely everything from pve to pvp due to racials, leveling advantages and numbers.

Yet :

- first 60 was alliance
- horde is eternally farmed in every BG like the subhuman shit they are
- all the top pve guilds are alliance
- all the world bosses are exclusively alliance property

If horde is so "good" then why dont their racials, GIB ME FREE LEVELS quest hubs and numerical advantages translate into anything worthwhile? The answer is incredibly simple : people who roll horde are underage weed meme spamming shitters who think doing drugs is cool and that you should roll whatever gives you the biggest advantage even if it means looking like a subhuman nigger for the rest of your gametime.

No good self respecting player needs racials to carry them in fucking 10 year old content of all things. Everything has been figured out, racials don't matter in pvp where player skill always dictates the outcome.

The good thing is, you have a lot of options in itemization, stealing all those dps leathers and mails and even wear cloth when no one needs it. On the other hand, its fucking boring to play, literally a single button spec, you will never cast anything but lightning bolt(and chain lighting on trash) and if you want to do that shit you might as well go destro warlock and do double the damage.

In 5man heroics you will also eat shit and have trouble finding pugs because of noCC and levelling is also slow, better to level as enhancement.


Its definitely playable and go for it if you really like it but it will take much more effort to do it well than other casters.

No riptide. Casted heals. Raid healer compliment to Pally single target/tank healer. Chain heal, often off the tanks. If your other healers are shit, and its a spread out fight, single target healing the ranged etc.

They buffed the link range and made many changes over the years, the links were pretty short in vanilla/tbc, and its not worth casting unless it heals 3 people.

Gummy release will happen on the 19th of July. It has come to the attention of the admin group that a few guilds have arranged for system of warning for when the server launches. Due to the fact that a soft launch wouldn't create much hype for a specific date but would give even more of an advantage to well known organized guilds, the admin team at Felmyst has decided to anesthetize them by providing them with a false date. The real release is happening 48 hours prior to the announced one, give or take a few hours.

In the longrun it likely wouldn't matter at all and people would forget, and while private server races shouldn't matter it leaves a very bad perception that will get meme'd until the end of time. The only tangible benefit is server stability which even then may be for nothing as once the neets find out everyone else will find out, so instead of server crash immediately it will be 10 minutes later.

Sure, I just don't think it would make it as smooth as you think. I don't have any data to back it up but my guess would be that more than half of the people really really into private servers are unemployed or on summer break, and that group would be the majority of the type who would swarm a server right at launch anyhow.
It wouldn't be just the "top guilds" as those types of players mentioned above would certainly be checking places like wowservers for news, twitter, etc. It wouldn't stay a secret for long.
It wouldn't be as big as a scheduled launch, yeah, but still big enough to not enjoy the potential benefits of a smooth launch. And even if it DID get a smooth launch, that's literally the only benefit of being a sneaky booboo about the release launch date/time.
We're both inventing quite a bit here to support or detract from some pretend scenario anyhow since it's not a thing and won't be a thing.

Insect swarm is basically a non-factor.
Faerie fire is nice, but people are getting hitcapped anyways and at most they will account for draenei aura, certainly not faerie fire, so it's worthless after T4.
Crit aura is good but not worth-a-slot good.
Innervate and bres are good but they might as well take resto druid.
In short, if they have alternatives you'll be benched.
