There are no guilds yet, just discords which have some healthy overlap between them.
All discords so far have had either some or a lot of /elyg/ people, and all discords except one so far (that has been closed) have been created by /elyg/ namefags.
There may or may not be guild drama - most of it is perpetuated by two individuals if you don't count the bandwagon (you) farmers - but as of right now there is no discord group that is not filled with /elyg/ folks.
They will lie about this, and a few of them have created multiple discord accounts for this sole purpose, especially people who have a bad rep from /elyg/.

The answer to your question is that it isn't clear yet what faction /vg/ is going (you could argue most will go alliance for queues, you could also argue most would go belf for faggoty reasons). And the second answer would be that zero guild/discord is not filled with /elyg/ right now.

If any of them are awake this early, this will be replied to by invoking whatever this week's boogieman is.

Not the dude you're replying to, but /vg/ or not it doesn't make a lot of sense to drum up a "perfect" raid composition when the server isn't even launched.
It's going to take weeks for everyone to hit 70 anyhow, in that time new people will show up, people will drop out, some fags will change their minds on spec/class, etc. Setting anything in stone right now is just wasted autistic effort.
In addition a lot of specs are "viable" that weren't in vanilla, plus getting the gold for respec fees isn't as shitty even if you have to do a few dailies - which you'll be doing some anyhow for rep. Specs like ret normally at least have 1 raid spot (at least horde side, less common for alliance) and other vanilla meme specs like enhance are required for certain groups.
It's not perfect but far more freedom than vanilla had and playing what you enjoy can apply even if you're tryharding. Once /vg/ is clearing kara and actually setting up a 25 man group they can be stricter about what roles everyone is set in, but no point to it now.
Also that's implying /vg/ will get past kara anyhow (they won't). They will splinter well before they get to that point.

How do shamans do vs other classes in pvp? Any spec. I'm not even a duel fag besides using it to learn and improve, just curious what you guys think because some of you have experience.

They still have a place but there are far fewer spots. Most raids would rather take a feral druid for OT duties or protection paladin for aoe duties. Vanilla required more tanks and since feral/prot paladin was kind of a joke, there were tons of spots for DPS(OT) warriors.

With TBC you're trying to stack class benefits and unfortunately for Warriors they don't bring much outside of shouts.

Also, with heroics requiring a good deal of CC, DPS warrior will have a VERY hard time getting groups outside of your friends/guild.

In 25 man raiding it's not uncommon to see a single Ret paladin. Blood Elves have a large advantage due to the way their seal works.

Ret Paladins will be more sought after than DPS warriors but not as much as Enhancement shamans. They'll also be looked over for pure DPS spots.

If you can get into a guild that accepts your role then you'll be fine. If you're not a social player then it might be better to go after a more desired class.
