I really like how Doomfist has his ammo counter at the center of the screen, I think it would be cool if every character had the same thing going on for their HUDs. Something like pic related would be cool, albeit without looking like it had been made in paint in 10 seconds. Seems a lot more elegant than looking at the bottom right of the screen every few seconds without being too cluttered.

Well due to our space problem in the UK, we can't really build towns for new communities over here, so rather than integrate into society, most migrant groups simply find an area and create the most insular communities possible whilst simultaneously being hostile to anyone else. Well I'm great at Rein, but lately I've been getting focused pretty hardcore.
Earlier I was browsing memes and a lot of them involved Reinhardt gameplay but with Thomas the Tank Engine in the background.
I played the song on blast and somehow started stomping people as Rein despite enemy teams having Reapers, Pharahs, Tracers and other Reinhardts.
Call it superstition, but I'm gonna test this out again tomorrow. Maybe the Thomas the Tank Engine theme just makes me focus. Idk.

Even in the modern times he's a wandering hobo who has had one comic and will probably never be talked about again. Nothing was more fun than being a Rein during the days of speed nano boost. You went in and fucked people up and they were scared of your power. Now days, he's a joke. Firestrike is already hard enough to hit without it being downsized like in the PTR. Charge, which rewarded good prediction and made people afraid of getting to close to you lest they be pinned with no time to react is not a 'Niko lets go bowling' simulator. Earth shatter is a complete joke and can't hit anyone even if this highly mobile meta would touch the ground for two seconds. There's nothing intimidating about you, you're like a giant mercy with no escape and people will chase you down with zero fear. I lame half of it on being able to see enemy health bars, because back in TF2 a Heavy with a revved minigun was fucking intimidating, and you didn't have the luxury of knowing he only had 30 hp and was playing mind games.

If anything its only going to get worse. Fix all the mistakes and bugs and it probably won't help, he's still going to be a slow walking Orisa barrier. The game is getting to the point where people can play mobile heroes that wreck shit against slower heroes, and its evolved to a point where everyone knows that you're slow, and you can't do shit to them. Of course, things arn't looking very nice for him in other hero releases, since every hero has to be special and have some gimmick that will likely be a stun or magic status effect shit.

You're not wrong. I play a lot of rein and I don't feel too gimped, but it doesn't matter if you're winning against winston, you've dropped your shield and now you're exposed. Que genji and tracer coming in with winston to kill you instantly whil damage boosted phara launches rockets at you.

Even if you do stay cohesive as a team, someone is going to get behind you and just start shooting.

Most games if I go rein there is simply nobody behind my sheild, since everyone is so mobile they don't need it.
