Basically, halfway through Extra, an alternate version of Sakura took over part of the Moon Cell and tried to take over everything. MC got pulled into a timeless section of the Moon Cell and needed to find his way out. By the end of it all, the entire event had been erased and everything reverted back to as it was before anything happened.

B.B. is considered a "Moon Cancer", though, due to the way that she had manipulated faults in the Moon Cell's code. Although who knows when that will be relevant in F/GO, if ever.

Well, Thursday's and Friday's material quests had different monsters at each level, and so different materials dropping with each level. Other than that, not really. You'll need the monuments anyways at some point (everyone requires them for 3rd and 4th ascensions) so you'll want to hunt them anyways. Plus, you can use your spare class pieces to ascend your random other characters, unlocking new interludes and making them a bit more handy if you want to try a few out.

I did the math when I was rerolling, and the likelihood of getting two random SSRs on your initial 46 free quartz was almost exactly 1%. Of course, this drops drastically in practice because you have to reroll Vlads.
