Anyone here try or know any different/better inspector settings than pic related? And I added -refresh 144 to the steam launch options, not sure if it's necessary though.
Haven't done any benchmarks or anything but the game runs just fine with no tearing or stutter on my 970 and 6600K. Everything on high except AA and draw distance on low and shadows on medium. Motion blur is off, obviously.

General themes:
-Know when to engage
-Know when to NOT engage
-Commit to whatever you're going to do, this game does not reward half-assed attempts at things
-Drop into popular areas when you're new to learn how to fight well
-Memorize the plane path and use that information
-Top 10 is difficult, there are a variety of good videos for dealing with that out there. Try not to be jittery
-It's usually best to let two people fighting fight it out rather than join in

I never knew before I bought that the matchmaking was 1v1 2v2 4v4 and it puts you into teams, I expected dayz and rust style shit of massive team speak teams, the matchmaking is really good, 9/10 the person has a mic and you meet some interesting people as well. Met a knowledgeable brit, crazy Russian and a guy from Lithuania. Fun stressful times. More games need this type of matchmaking.

I had an SKS, an 8x scope and a silencer and an Ext. Quickdraw, yet when I would try and snipe people with it I hit maybe 3 or 4 times total out of 40 shots fired. Is it inaccurate or is it me? I'm leading, I know about bullet drop, and I'm using shift to hold my breath. What gives?

I was hitting them about the same as they were hitting us but he was too scared to peek and I couldn't wear them down enough so we got fucked by the circle, tried to run out, and they obviously kept shooting at us. Get better friends. Having fire select isn't really needed though since you can just single click for single shot fire if you need to anyways. I don't think any vets actually use the fire selector and just leave it on auto. You can manually burst fire or single shot by yourself.

What graphics settings are you guys using? I'm running shadows and textures at medium, draw distance and foliage at ultra and post processing and effects at very low. 1440p with 120% screen scaling. It works out well but if there are 5 or more smoke grenades going off I get FPS drops. Shadows at very low seems to make it easier to look into buildings but it's so ugly I don't want to play it that way.

Is there any way to make buildings load faster?

What I did so far was defragment my hard drive and page file, and move all the game data to the end of the drive so it would just all be in a same place.

Crawled all the way to circle while everyone else killed each other. At the end there were me and 2 other alive, kept crawling to circle while they exchanged grenades. As soon as one of them dropped the other, rushed in and got the chicken (with awful aim, but all it took was 1 bullet). Sometimes I can't find more than 2 boxes of ammo for a gun after a couple of houses and then another house has 3-5 boxes of one ammo type in every single room.

Just use textures on ultra and aa, rest is just bloat and annoying, especially shadows, maybe render distance is nice but i heard it does nothing so
