after practicing optimal rotation and stacking Crit/Direct Hit materia 6, im sitting on a IL313 drg.

I can stay about 200dps above most classes, but i have to have perfect rotations, its very unforgiving.

and then im still about 1k behind those filthy SAMs anyway.

If i can't get an optimal rotation in i'm guarenteed last DPS almost always, beating only BLM essentially.

They should really just give DRG a retained stack if BOTD falls off so you keep the eyes you've been gaining. that wont fix all the problems but its just the number one thing i'd start with.

The simplest way to put it is that, when you're imbalanced more than 30 between White and Black mana, you generate it half as fast in the lacking mana. The bug is that you also only CONSUME half of the mana as well when you attack. So like, when I swing in this webm, watch what happens.

I haven't really messed around with it at all, but in an ideal scenario where your procs line up that way it definitely would be. The negatives I can think of include not being able to use Verfire/Verstone procs as freely (you want to intentionally imbalance, so it might result in more Jolts to avoid raising one mana too high) and also that if you imbalance while one mana is TOO low, every time you cast a spell that would normally raise its mana you're "wasting" half of that mana, which is the exact opposite of what you're trying to do.

Someone who has actually done math on it may shed more light.

You get yourself to 46/46 normally, then maximize one mana pool but throw in a jolt/impact as needed to get yourself to 100/52
It's actually incredibly easy to do when practiced and increases your DPS by a ludicrous amount.

Need help from someone who cleared susano EX. I was tanking him for the first time and got kicked for doing the tank swap 'wrong' but I don't know what I did wrong.

My understanding of it:

They didn't explain before they kicked me but based on what the other tank from that FC was doing it was provoking during the stormsplitter but I still got the debuff and then he had no provoke so I don't know what that was doing differently to work. Please help

Question for people looking to get some content done in this thread, would anyone here ever be interested in maybe regularly doing content such as EX Primals with xivg over the Aether Party Finder?

It'd be a focus on just having fun and helping people learn fights, get some clears, maybe even farm loot, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere to maybe lighten up the thread.

I know some people here get nervous about joining a 'normal' party finder group and thought maybe this could be a nice alternative for people to have fun with the game together, even if it hasn't always turned out the best in the past.
