If you use Garuda you want to avoid going into DWT until contagion is within 10 seconds of it's CD, and use tri-disaster late into DWT and get deathflare/TD under contagion

Can I get some advice from some DRK mains?

I'm unsure on when I should be changing stances during boss fights. Obviously during big pulls I want to be in grit for mitigation and to take advantage of Blood Price, but during boss fights I'm not sure on what to do with grit.

I usually use it at the start of a battle to gain an enmity lead and then drop it, however once I drop it I never really turn it back on. Is this the right thing to do? I feel like since I never use it I'm not doing something right, like I'm just letting Blood Price sit there and rot during bosses and whatnot. Am I doing the right thing or am I missing some use for it?

I prefer FFXIV, but Christ, Legion is awesome, MoP was amazing, WoD was good aside from the content drought.
The only thing I think FFXIV does objectively better is making raiding a more accessible experience for their players, building end game content around 8 players is much easier to manage.
Everything else is subjective, why do people defend games with such ferocity when they can't even critically analyze anything.

I have never been so upset at an ending of a game in my entire life. Just get o 50 is what i was told, and I'd be playing my kick ass Dark Knight.

Well, I fucking did it, I grinded my ass off within the course of about a week, i made it to 50 and my triumph was met with nothing more than laughter.

I was enjoying it, I was, i didn't mind playing 1-50 at all, though I had a goal. I had a purpose to get there and now that purpose has been pulled away even farther.

I don't have friends really to play with, just people from the LS who help me out every once in a while, but I think i annoy most of them.

It's not like the game is bad, it's just...a disappointing feeling. Working this hard for no real payoff, or at least, not the payoff you wanted.

I was looking forward to DRK, and SAM seems to be a dps class, something i'm not really all that interested in. RDM looks cool, but i don't have Stormblood, so i'm stuck slogging through more quests just to get to the interesting bit at the end and THEN I get to play DRK....hopefully

you don't. Doing stuff with people is the first step on the road to making friends anyways.

If you were enjoying the game then you should keep going. Even if you got DRK now you would still have to do all those quests, and most of them are just running around talking to people so you wouldn't even be playing your class much. And while 100 quests sounds like a lot, it goes by a lot faster than it sounds. Try not to fixate on the class too much because you might be disappointed if you end up not liking it, just keep enjoying the game and progressing like you have been.
