What would be the best class to fit into this group?

Warrior, Ninja, White Mage.

Probably just going to be leveling, doing dungeons and such. Nothing amazingly hardcore.

Are there things to do for a solo player that are fun and or profitable in the endgame of XIVG?

I've kind of grown out of the whole "join a guild, be social, raid on x days" and so on. Feeling too old for that. I just want to be able to have some challenging content to do or elite mobs to farm as a solo player sometimes.

just hit 60 botany and mining but my gear is complete garbage (level 55). armour and tools are around level 55 but accessories are 50 or below. everything is so expensive. what should I do? i dont think it's worth spending half of my money on a gathering set that will last me for only a few levels.
