The worst thing about Spawn is how you can just sit it there without concern over anything. Go into Vengeance and you get Emeralda, one of the most broken cards in the game. I am fully confident the first nerf will be completely removing Baphomet's enhance effect, but I question if it will be enough. It will just make it so that they will stop running Baphomet entirely and just replace him with Hector, with Spawn just being there as a finisher against control.

Without the danger of turn 6 Spawn, the deck can be run over no problem by other strong turn 5-6 decks like Storm Haven or Neutral Sword/Haven. I doubt Neutral Blood would even run Spawn after a possible Baphomet nerf. Turn 8 is too late and much easier to counter.

Eris had two T1 decks in DE, but IIRC tempo forest actually had the best winrates. I'd argue midsword was also stronger, but we don't have much data on that since it only gained popularity towards the end of the expansion.

Daria, midshadow, and now spawnblood have boasted considerably more oppressive stats than Haven ever could.

What is the best deck for dealing with Haven? Fuck Spawn. I'm sick of coming up against these anti meta players trying to run the slowest most obnoxious decks. I don't care if I die to Spawn because of it. I would rather just shit all over these players instead. At least the Spawn ones finish the match quickly.

Pre-nerf Daria was lopsided, as it was the strongest deck in the meta if going 2nd. Roach was had a better overall WR. It got to the point where I would just insta-concede to Rune in unranked if they were going 2nd.

Storm, Aegis or Heal? I shit on them with mid shadow or ramp dragon, same old decks but with a couple new WD cards.
Heal in special can be tricky if you brick/don't draw a bahamut, but if you do it's autopilot and they can't recover.

I keep running into these weird shadow lists with Lurchers, Necroassassins, Khawy, the sac dude to draw cards sorcery/creatuer etc. Does anyone know what the heck they're playing? Not knowing the cards in my opponent's deck means I always get blown out by what they're playing.

I think the only one I actually occasionally have issues triggering is Hector since he's down on turn 5 and is neutral himself, but between carrot and goblin mage replacing herself with another neutral it's really not too hard to keep up.

man, it's so hard to d-shift these days. having no decent stats for two drop other than golem and carbuncle hurts. also, fuckall for three drops. i dropped the sword shift deck and went back to destroyers. much better against all this neutral wank. i really love dr. heinlein. he's pretty good and makes those late fate's hand pulls not so traumatic.

I highly doubt it. Cygames have all but admitted their balance policy is "taking turns", which alienates people who dislike that aspect of Hearthstone yet doesn't convince anyone else to come over.

There was a time where I would try to convince my HS friends to play SV, but the state of the meta has been so sorry for three expansions now I don't even bother.
