Not him but I'm running the same list excepting that Red-Hot Ritual has been replaced by the new Carbuncle.

Oz's downside is cancelled out by Winter's Caprice. Your turn 6 play a lot of the time will be dropping her, activating a 1pp Caprice and then using the cost reduction on your other cards to fuel DShift. Most notably, it means that Sorcery Cache is worth three charges at 1pp.
Because there's no space for Merlin, traditional removal like Wind Blast has to be ditched in order to maximize the odds of pulling Shift on Lou.
Witchbolt is fantastic in this meta because shit like Alice is running around everywhere. Secrets of Erasmus are mostly extra copies of Witchbolt, but the enhance is sometimes relevant.
There's a lot of talk about the meta being faster now due to Spawn, but it's generally a slow meta if your deck can respond to him. I usually DShift on turn 9 after stalling. Because you aren't running Destroyers you'll usually need two or aggressive use of burn to win though.

If they nerf Blood who do you expect to take over? I think all the Neutral decks are pretty broken right now. Beauty and the Beast is extremely difficult to deal with. It doesn't die to Khawy for example. I think people are sleeping on Hector a bit right now. The value he provides is absolutely insane. Neutral Forest seems really strong to me.

Keep a copy of Caprice in your opening hand against Blood, Forest and Shadow. Other than answering Spawn and sticky cards, you can brick a big board and stop them from playing anything. Sometimes if an early game goes well I'll see people go three turns without playing anything due to a board of snowmen.

If you notice a slower match up or see a turn 7 Shift, you can afford to spend burn on face. Sword is the only craft that can consistently burst you from hand right now, even Forest lists are playing light on roach combo in this meta.

Plan for Secret of Erasmus if you have it in hand. Even if it slows down your set up, bouncing a Feria before a Cinderella goes down can save match ups.
